WARNING: Star Sonata Is A Scam

The game Star Sonata should be deleted from your database. The admins of star sonata have been interchanged and the new admins are bias former players who have scammed players out of their money on several occasions. Myself included, I was robbed of 30$ after paying for my account and then being banned days later for an undisclosed reason. Also there are others who have been banned for PvPing too hardcore and NOT breaking any rules.
On top of all this: Star Sonata is buggy, incomplete in some sections, the playerbase is comprised of annoying youngins, its 10$ USD/month to play and most of all:
IT IS THE MOST EXPLOITED AND BROKEN GAME IVE EVER SEEN. There are so many registered exploits in this game its not even funny. On top of that theres only 3 admins and NONE of them have any education in programming. They are volunteers and dont get paid for their job therefore do a half assed job of it. With each update to the game at LEAST 3 new exploits are discovered. Also the Star Sonata universe is small and people have the capability of putting up 24/7 autogank platforms which they like to call "bases" to blockade people from key sections of the game. Also seeing as how its a small universe 1 character has the capability of ruling the entire game and believe me: One player does. He greifs and exploits and gets away with it just because hes friends with the admins.

Yes, As darkman said, read then post please. I was not caught exploiting. In fact I beta tested this game and helped remove as many exploits as possible. Also I agree with you darkman and just to let you know Star Sonata was my first MMORPG so I had no idea there were better things out there for the same type of price. I know better now. I just wanted to save you all from this headache. The admins banned a group of PvPers for simply being too good for their level. Dont believe me? Heres the link.

What?! Man, when I played SS a few months back it was a pretty cool game, I met several helpful and kind people, and the experience was very fun. I only left cause I was going through a boredom phase. Plus, I played it free, how could it have a charge now?
Edit: I read that post, seems to me they got what they deserved. From the looks of it they used alts with alot of skill to destroy complete noobs for the hell of it, and I find this act despicable and stupid.

Foolish remark. I was a beta tester. I found exploits and reported them. Who cares what you think anyway, go ahead and play Star Sonata. With that kind of attitude of generalization you deserve to be scammed.
Also for the person above you, Star Sonata was great fun back in the beta days, not its P2P and horrible, try it out and see.
I agree that it looks like a dreadful game but that doesn't make it a scam... it just makes it crap. Unfortunately, there is no law against selling subscriptions to lousy games. It's not a bad idea, though... is it? If they threw developers and publishers in jail when they released bad games, us customers would be in perfect game heaven! Yay!

Ok it seems im not being understood clearly. Star Sonata USED to be a GREAT game. Unfortunately the developers that took over were FORMER PLAYERS with BIAS attitudes about many of the players that killed or stole from them. They will actually BAN the people they dont like for the smallest thing such as swearing when EVERYONE swears. If you are a new players in Star Sonata and piss off one of the players that the admins are friends with then you get the same treatment. Imagine this treatment after you have PAID for a game. Basically if you look at this games description it says you can be a trader, pirate etc. However for being a pirate you get banned. Im dead serious. In my opinion this is fraud.

Maybe I was a bit slow in reacting, but still, a team made by high levels to mostly go around "owning noobs" and griefing them is not what I have in mind for SS.
It was clearly said in the past that such griefing of new players would not be tolerated.

You know what? I went back to Star Sonata, you know what else? I have YET to see any subscription costs. I was ganked once, whereupon another player took it upon himself to utterly obliterate that same ganker. The people in this game are very kind, and ive found its even funner that I once thought.
Im not really sure why you'd say these things, becuase I have yet to find it any different from when I played it months ago.

Funny, since im PRETTY sure you have to pay 10$ a month USD to play it or you cant level past level 20.
Also you cant judge the game from a few days of play, and I never said the playerbase was garbage (a lot of them are though) because there are alot of nice people that play, I have alot of friends there. Problem is the admins. If you see no difference from when you played months ago then months must mean 2-3 months to you. There have been nerfs and beefs and new items and rule changes etc. Play it for a while, I dare you. I dare anyone to.

hmm, Eyes is trying to advise the mmorpg.com community about a game he feels strongly about, and whether he is right or wrong on the subject he gets called an obvious exploiter and dumb.
Why not add constructive criticism if you feel the need? It is possible to disagree with people without resorting to insults or unsubstantiated allegations.
I think some of you have real life issues if you are so quick to flame.
I also hate exploiters, but I really really hate bullies.
i suggest that the MMORPG staff check this out and choose weather or not to delete the game from the list
