Q: Possible to play consoles on DVI monitors?

See, I was really hoping that somewhere, there's an adapter that lets me play my consoles (you know, Xbox, GC, with the standard yellow/white/red inputs) on a DVI monitor.

some high end monitors have an imput for console connections and DvD players and such.

but mind you these are high end monitors.

and if not you can run them through the computer with some video cards. but yet again its expensive equip that i think ATI is better at.

Well, I do have an ATI card, but it only has one DVI output, one VGA output, and one TV-out output. No input.

Nobody said my video card was any good...

they make a ATI Tv recorder kit that will do that.

i think its an extension onto the card that goes into a slot below or something but ive never seen one work but ive seen em in stores.

but what the kit is designed to do is allow you to record television onto your hard drive, so it at least has an imput you can get a converter for google it for more answers.
