On Saturday, MMORPG.com will play host to a major announcement from a big MMORPG company. The announcement is exclusive to MMORPG.com throughout the weekend, before a general press release next week.
So, let the guessing begin and check back on Saturday afternoon to find out what the big news really is.

My prediction is that Sony will reveal that we've all actually been living inside their latest ultra-realistic MMORPG. Which explains why I'm always killing rats with swords. At least I hope that's why.

If this does not involve the Dark and Light announcement about the release date of Settlers of Ganareth we will have a lot of disappointed people around here.
Although I never thought of DnL as being made by a "big" MMORPG company.

Word on the street is that Dark and Light will announce their free Settlers of Ganareth prequel info that it's open to the masses for the next 6 months...free.
However I would not call them a big mmorpg company as most people haven't heard of them...
Could be some sort of ancillary response to the reorganization of SWG...
im going to agree with u on this, speculation puts SoG to be released on the 5th which is this saturday
but i still hope turbine spares AC2 the axe
SWG will be the 'free to play'-MMO Sony announced for 2006 at the AGC. :þ
I have more hope in the site that something they claim is exclusive to them actually is...
Though thats been not the case in the past, I have to hope on this case it is true, which would hopefully rule out the DnL and SWG "news" since well, they've been announced in at least some manner in other places already...

Well first, way to go mmorpg.com
, awesome that your getting the good and doing stuff like this, love to see it.
Second, I would say it has something to do with SOE, my first thought was blizzard anouncing more features, classes, races for the upcomming expansion, but blizzard does not seem really big on using other sites for big info releases. Considering the seemingly close relationship this site has with SOE, my guess is an anouncement regarding a completely new SOE game that has been in development from they Seatle SOE team.
Either way, can't wait to see what it is.

It's SOE announcing SWG:2 It'll be like the first one before they fucked it up. Either that or they think 9 professions is still too many and they're reducing it to one so people don't get confused
What happened to MMOORPG ProjectX anyway.................could it be that?

I know what it is! The announcement that SOE and Blizzard will be merging, making World of Everquest!
Diablo 3 will be a MMO .... or more possible... Fallout 3 ...or maybe even the SOE free play title ....that's my 3 guesses

My guess is we're waiting for and speculating about an announcement of an event that we'll be waiting for and speculating about.
If i had to pick a topic, i would guess TCoS or DnL related info.
Hadn't heard about a free to play SOG game before.. that's always welcome.
NC-Soft will announce their new MMOG: "City of Domes".
It's the city you may know from the film "Logan's Run". A 2006-remake of 'Logan's Run' is currently in production, too.
