I like DAOC's combat system -- specifically spell interrupts. No other game has the interrupt system that DAOC has, and it really makes the game unique!

F2P is not a fix for anything, its a last way to try and make some quick cash before you go out of business. The game needs an overhaul if they want to bring in more people. I tried to get back into it, but it just felt too old for me. Its sad, but was great when it was new. Had tons of fun in DAoC.
So aggravating listening to Stuart Zissu talk about how he can't figure out how to monetize DAOC F2P transition. Any old DAOC player can tell you they had a buff bot account or two when DAOC was popular. If you can't think of time saving enhancements to monetize a F2P transition you have no business being a producer of a mmo. I guess that's what you get when you hire CSR's as Game Designers (Hello Warhammer and thank you EA Louse). I bet he also wonders why Mythic Employees like kai (who got married in the studio) are walking away to go work for Zenimax's Elder Scrolls Online. I hope Matt takes every last customer from these clueless script monkeys have. Hopefully then they can reach their full career potential of making 99cent cell phone apps along with Mark and City State Entertainment. If you don't want to watch clueless bads run around RVR for 2 hrs the convo starts here -
