So the morons at COH/COV Customer Service strike again!

As pre my other thread I have been unable to login and play since I entered my retail code. I'm not alone on this. Apparently this is some giant SNAFU that the geniuses didn't see coming with people who have cancelled CoH accounts and wanted to play CoV. After days of waiting and hounding CS there I get this response as to why I cannot play my 30 free days right now:

CSR "I am showing no billing applied to the account in order to activate the free month. You will need to do that in order to play."

Now my only two options are "reactivate" and "upgrade". I've done everything to the letter as they said to do to add this key and then be able to play BOTH games for the $15/mos once charged. Upgrade just asks for the key that I already used at that same place. So no use there. Reactivate tells me this:

"Since your game account is currently inactive you will be immediately charged $14.95 for 1 month(s) of service. Your subscription will then auto-renew on your NEXT BILL date as listed in Account Management unless you DEACTIVATE your account before that date. "

Well, talk about morons on patrol. So what the CSR has said in short is "you have to pay $15 now to play your FREE 30 days." Maybe there is a different definition of "free" in Stupidville...

In short, I have informed their CS department that if this issue is not resolved and POSTED to the community as to how to rectify THEIR mistakes and lack of clarity that I will be filling a  suit against them for Breech of Contract and False Advertising that I am quite sure will snowball into a class action suit since there are so many dealing with the same issues I am. If you are in the same boat as me ( and posting here because you can't post squat on the community forums because your account is "innactive" then keep me posted. The joys of a class action suit is the more the merrier.

"What is it I have against Microsoft, you ask?     The devs are worser than the CS.  You know I talk the truth.  :)  I dont say anything good about the CS, I just say that the devs are worser.

     

    If the devs would be good, you would not even have this issue in the first place.

    Wow great post, I just can't understand how anything you say wouldn't be taken to heart.  I know the devs of COH must be very sorry you no longer play the game.

    Condisering that CS is PlayNC and the Developers are Cryptic....two seperate entities, I can't see your corrilation, Anofalye.

    billing and game design are two seperate areas and don't cross over. Anofalye, I expected a more intelligent reponse from you...this off the handle, rabid trolling is disappointing.

    Oh, and if you want to shoot back that I'm a blind fanboy, I could care less. I'm enjoying CoH/CoV with an active SG of 70 strong. If I wasn't enjoying myself, I'd just move onto another game.

    your arguement is so persuasive, so filled with knowledge and insight. You back up your argument very articulately, with suggestions of improvements and raising examples to glorify your position....oh wait, you didn't

    *shrug*  I flame those that deserve flames and I praise those that deserve praises.  If they didnt grow up and require blindness followers, they are indeed heading for a massive walls.  Players and customers are free to say and express their minds.

     

    I have no idea if they care or not about tiny little me playing THEIR game, but I still don't see what your point is.  Are you saying we need to remain quiet and STFU?  LOL, when a movie lack, I am the first to say so, and when it rule, I am the first to praise it.

     

    If you just bother to check around this forum, you will see me doing both for CoV, praisinf and blasting.  They deserve every blast I did...or almost.  :)  A game is supposed to be a high quality product.

     

    It is troll like you that support blindly for any reason that ruin games for others players.

     

    Now, this guy was blasting the CS, I told him he would do better to blast the devs, because it is not the CS but the devs which are the problem on this case.  If you are to childish to see me blast your so beloved devs, I can't care less.

    NCsoft is saying I am fine and can play the game.  Their server is update and say all the info is right and I can enjoy the game.

     

    When I load CoV, I can play CoH but not CoV, yet, on my NCsoft account, it clearly say I can play CoV.  So, defend your so beloved devs as much as you want, but Cryptic is unable to use the data from NCsoft as intended.  And let's me tell you, NCsoft pay Cryptic to deal with all the information exchange.  But no, oh no, it must be NCsoft fault.  It is Cryptic fault, all the way.  The data transfer between NCsoft and CoH is Cryptic responsability, they are paid for that.  NCsoft merely do the cashier.

     

    In my book, this is a dev fault.  And that makes you...a fanboi troll!
