[Interview] OverSoul: Nothing Like Starting the Game Dead

MMORPG: How are you combining elements from Collectible Card Games with MMORPGs in OverSoul?

Milton Pool: You find and collect your characters in PvE. You explore a world map to find new characters. The characters you encounter can be really random. Once you defeat a character, you have the option to possess them. Possession also has a chance to fail. Rare characters are harder to find and to possess. Many players become hunters in that they want to collect all the difficult to find characters, which can be quite difficult.

    I'm sure the articles are checked, although I'm not sure why. The loving and caring MMORPG.com community would never in a million years point out something as small and nitpicking as spelling and grammar...

    It's not small and nitpicking.  This isn't middle school.  Ugh.

    Its small and Nitpicking, this aint a highclass news site, were talking games, Neme's and internet junk on this website, and 70% of the users aint even living in the US, 60% or so dont even speak english daily.  nobody cares about some Bad Grammar

    I like how the only comments consist of the grammer police complaining about grammer. Not a peep about the game.

    The game seems....well different. Not sure if I would be interested in it, it might be intersting to check out. Guess I will wait and see what happens with the game.

    The internet is for porn and maybe sometimes for games and not for grammar or spelling things well. If you don´t like it then stay in the real world.

    rmk70, adam nox, and nikopol. you all need to get lives. people that throw hissy fits over grammar do not have lives are unhappy with their lives & they desire attention far too often.  you are all narcissistic clowns imo. what you have is an illness.i suggest seeing a psychotherapist. in the future i suggest limiting your comments to the criteria and the criteria alone. which happens to be video gaming talk. or did you forget this was all about having fun and playing video games? i desire no response. that was rhetorical.good day.

    oh im def gunna check out this game. it looks very fun i happen to love video games like this. i allways imagined what it would be like to become a charactor from mtg. this has one of those kind of spins.love it!

    im really dissapointed with this game, compared with the other games Artix did this is the most pay to win one, your first toon has 2 evolutions and you can only evolve it once for free, the second evolution requires you to purchase Pearls, the most cheaper pearl pack costs 20$, and maybe its me, but i found it excesive, they should add more cheaper packs so people who dont plan to spend a lot of evolutions in different cards can play happy, and they would probably win more cash.

    Varthander, now OS has  $5 and $10 packages, so don't say anything about that, because $5 is plenty cheap.Also, the third evolution, or 'Master rank' some characters evolve for free, such all the starter characters, and well most of them. Just go to either one of the wikis to see which ones cost Soul Gems, not pearls, to evolve.

    Besides the horrible way the paid currency/content system is set up, OS is a great game. Just don't play if you get frustrated by other people having stuff you can't get, that's how AE games work.

    @above well, more like how AQW and Epic Duel work. Other AE games are single player.AQW is all about the art, and nothing else, and Epic Duel is about the cores that come with the weapons. OS is about, currently anyways, is if you missed a character that has a good deck. But I like OS the most because it's more predicable than Epic Duel, and AQW because everything except the art(Which, occasionally, even that is bad). Other AE games are good, but that's for another topic.Also, OS does not have a 'Membership' of some sort, it's just a secondary currency which can make the game easier and sometimes better.
