Macros and BOTs

In some games BOTs (repeatedly do task to raise skills, earn gold, or level up without a human). This is a problem in many games, but with new methods of tracking them down it is becoming less of a proplem. Of course there are always new and smarter BOTs coming out. The latest protection is a type of spyware that can find out much more then if you are using a BOT.

There is no real way to detect scriping or macros ever, unless you have a live video feed to the pc. Most scripts are run with keystrokes which can't be tracked directly, the only thing that can track bots and/or macros is a program that monitors processes, which is very much unscrupulous.
Bots aren't getting "smarter", people are just coding better, automating anything in a macro is not difficult, it takes minimal scripting knowledge and can be done with just windows and VBscript. Of course, the majority of "leet hax0rs" that run scripts wouldnt know anything about writing them, that's why you don't see most good macros or bots go public.
Suffice to say, anybody voting for spyware is a moron, I can understand wanting fairness in a game but willingly giving out information to companies is rediculous.
