Holding such places would give some kind of bonus as well.

I am sure Mark and crew realize that the mature MMO crowd nowadays are quite jaded. Adding some "adultish" content would be neccessary to keep intrest. Most of us are long past the "leet play" - uber specing, and twitchy playing.
Adding such content would allow for "fun" RP as well. Just something.... ya know?
A few good inns are always welcome.
Playing LotRO it is always fun to stop by The Prancing Pony and check out what is going on. This incorporates a lot of RP possibilities, and shouldn't require too many resources. LotRO also have a fun music system implemented where everyone can pick up and play an instrument. While I never learned to play well, there are some bands that are actually pretty good and take their music serious, and it adds a different dimension to the game.
