WoW for Xbox360

Why doesn't Blizzard make World Of Warcraft for Xbox360. They will make more money and will bring more people to the game which I think it needs..

  • Ummm... I'm not sure if this post deserves an responce but i'm gonna give it one. World of Warcraft needs more players? Are you sure about this, isn't over 5 million or what ever ridiculose number it is now enough.

And for the fact that It wouldn't work on the xbox 360. Like hell i'm playing my hunter without the 20+ bindings I use to play well,

Because it takes time. It will be one hell of a job making it work, currently mmo's like Wow are unplayable on consoles. They have to rework the whole game to make it work gameplay wise. They got to keep 4 million players of the pc version happy. They are currently developing Sc: Ghost and the Wow expansion + live content. And it clearly doesn't need more people. 4 million are enough for me.

    /agreed

It is ridiculous claiming that video games influence children. For instance, if Pac-Man affected kids born in the 80's, we should by now have a bunch of teenagers who run around darkened rooms and eat pills while listening to monotonous music!

That's crazy, THEY DONT NEED MORE PEOPLE. ANd as the others have stated, the game wouldnt feel natural on a controller. You wouldn't be able to bring up all of the menus w/o standing stilll when branching through many menus to finally get to your equipemnt or spell list!

It can work but take alot of work with there equimpment and programing and WoW have no need. FFXI is on the ps2 and will be on xbox360 and no matter if you like the game or not it a successful game.

WoW for XBOX 360 could work. Simply bundle a keyboard with it. They made one for the Dreamcast for Phantasy Star Online and am I ever glad they did cause talking to others was a pain otherwise. The machine is powerful enough to handle everything in WoW and with a keyboard as well it would be no different to the PC version

Currently playing: World of Warcraft. Love the Recruit a Friend program!

    Waiting for WAR.

    Is this a joke?

    a) Blizzard is making plenty of money
    b) WoW certainly has no shortage of players
    c) MMOs like WoW on consoles just don't work (EQ:OA is a hack and slash)

i agree with Tithrielle. The consols aren't good enough to play the awesome games from the computer. They just aren't strong enough. WoW has enough players and if they got it for the Xobx 360 they woulsn't need it for the PC. Also if it was going to come out would i be only online so you would have to pay or do you fight bots and no real players.

i don't think WoW is going to come to the Xbox 360

yeah there are too many players already in my opinion.  i bet blizzard ceo's look at ironforge and origrimmar on the full servers at peak hours and get chubbys.

also there is no way to play wow with a control pad.  not enough buttons to even come close.

I'm pretty sure the X360 has the power to run WoW. But I do think it would be hard to bring it to the console because it is complicated to implicate a system where computer players and console players can play and interact together. Also, it may be hard to add in the cost of playing per month. Unless you create the account on the website I guess.
