Game like DotA 2 but with...

WASD controls and preferably 3rd person perspective (not the DotA bird's eye view)?

 

Are there any games like that?  Team death match type game set ups where you fight against grunts/soldiers and level up and buy gear while at the same time finghting against other players or bot heroes?

    Are you thinking of Dragon Nest or Savage/Savage2?  I'm trying to rack my brain for games that might be similar too.

    Thats more of an arena game of team pvp, SMITE would be the best bet as mentioned (3rd person tower defense).

    You have 3 that i know of with third person perspective and WASD

    -Smite

    -Savage 2: a tortured soul

    -Land Of Chaos Online (LOCO)

    all three are nice. Loco i think is a bit unbalanced (not sure if its because of the cash shop). Savage is kinda old but still looks ok and its fun. In Savage 2 i think You can even pick the top view mode while everyone else plays in third person with WASD so you can give strategies to your temmates from top view. And SMite is the most recent, pretty fun but some maps are just corridors with branchings. Savage has a more open corridors while still being the same DOTA style game.

     

    EDIT: actually you have 4!!! Awesomenauts is amazingly fun. But its 2D side scroller moba. Still has WASD and levels are vertical (various floors in the level). Imagine a super metroid style game with a moba battle style. Really really fun with a nice minigame while you wait for your respawn.

    SMITE as many others have already mentioned before me. The game isn´t as balanced as Dota or LoL, however, it is still pretty new and includs tons of ton.

    LoL and Dota are the leading games in the genre though, LoL to be more specefic. Anyways, I guess, you already know that ;)
