I meantioned SpaceCowboy in the anime-mmorpg-beta thread, download link is in that thread since its not linked on the site.

Latest update messed up things & by the looks of it the devs seem to like big grinds (major nerf to armor, shield & money).
Right now its more expensive to refill ammo than to buy the exact same fully charged weapon from shop. Now its really hard to even earn money now that you must pay for refilling ammo. For some reason money from monsters have a big random gap & sometimes nothing drops.

Speaking of item-drops: it seems to be set at 1%, in 5 hours I have gotten 5 weapons (2 for my plane, 3 for the M-class) & 5 useless metals. For picking up items you need to fly into item, you are flying a plane, yah guess the problem. Dont think there is any loot-protection.

Game is in open alpha if you look at content: few types of monsters (stronger monster = different colored texture), skills just put in (4 of them, all passive), maps are small (instancing would really help out since its twitch based). Also all current "quests" are simply go kill x number of monster "name", thats not a good sign.

Could become good, could become junk, too early to tell.

I played Space Cowboy. Words can't describe it. If you ever played Ace Combat 4...ohhh boy. Let me see if I can find the video I made playing it.

Turf is new to me btw. I need to go back into hunting forgin games. Alot of the lucky games I find are going english.

Im sorry, Thats why I put (pretty sure) on the topic lol. Anyways I've never seen 'em before so If you have posted one of them before I'm sorry. And I got on SpaceCowboy. It's a great system but right now everything is messed up. The whole economics is screwed up. But I love the idea of it. Anyways I don't think I'll be able to play Zero because I can barely get one page to load. And when I click on regiser, it says "You must log in". Weird stuff...

Turf wars is really cool!!

First MMORPG I have played with a jumping platform type quest lol. That took me like an hour to finish because I kept falling off the roof.

Plus the GM is actually listening to you and responds to your questions. Clearly they are putting in the effort to making this a great game.

Give it a try, its worth the time, even if only for a night or two!!!

For PvP in turf wars, they have, well turf wars. If you have a certain medal that allows you into the PvP arena, then it's just a huge PvP map. I've only done it once and i was only level 25 then but it was still fun (I got pwned

sooo.I first looked a turf battles, read some reviews and then shunned it hehe. But now i am looking at it again.. Got some questions..

-Graphics are ok so i don't mind how ti looks, but aside from that what is fun about it?
-What are the classes? or is there even a class type system?
-Is there a Level/skill gaining system?
-Since its in Beta, will all chars be whiped at some point?

Edit: oh yah, and...dreading this...is it point click?

It's WASD and point and click, your choice. The thing that I think is cool is that the EXP is not per monster killed. It's per hit you land. You gain level's the same way you would in any other game. Every class has a different skill set and you gain the skills according to your stats. There are Humans and some kinda of weird elf. Humans has fist fighter, blade warrior, and red(i think) magician. I forget what the elves have. Anyways thats most of the stuff. Client download is pretty big, but it's worth it in my opionion.
