The Realm Online - Free Trial?

I saw that someone said The Realm Online has a free trial period, however I do not see this mentioned anywhere on their website or in the purchase process!  Can someone please explain??

    Free 30 day trials. Go to Realmserver.com. You'll find what you need there.

    30 day free trial, but you have to give up your credit card info to get it.  Billing starts automatically, so you'd better remember to cancel if you don't want to keep it.

    Yes, I understand the CC is required to prevent players from repeatedly signing up for free trail accounts. Some without a CC sent a check with a year's subscription ($49.95) which then gave them the 13th month for free. Not excactly a free trial account, but not bad for 13 months either.
