Not sure what Portalus is doing.

in Pirates of the Burning Sea

 

Game has been relaunched for about a week now.

 

No way to create a new account.

No news in 5 days as to when manual migrations will start (Last I heard it would be about a week)

I still can't log into the PotBS forums, (password recovery system not working)

No updates on the state of the progression since 2/18

 

We wont wait forever guys. Get on the ball.

    As it is now it's like watching a trainwreck. Deadlines keeps getting missed due to "unforseen issues". And it keeps repeating. Last time with the notes. They said monday but launched wednesday. Were up for a short time until they took it down due to... Well, you get it. Any negative post about it keeps getting deleted. It's a mess. People will have moved on once they MAYBE get their shit together. Never thought I would miss SOE...

    Yup I have had numerous emails be answered but with deadlines that are never met. My characters were to be "manually migrated" over a week ago. It was supposed to happen a day after the servers went live.

     

    By the time they get every thing up and running and every one that wants back into the game it will be summer and frankly I will be far to busy enjoying the outdoors to play pirates let alone PAY them to play it.

     

    Trainwreck is putting it lightly I think.

    Sony dumped the game for a reason.  There's a lot of broken mechanics in it.

     

    Take, for instance, the best way to pvp.  You sit at a port and pop your head out and scout around while you're invisible.  Whoever coded Cloaking Devices onto sailing ships should be shot.  Its like a retarded version of Star Trek Online.
