I'd love to make a game although i have no coding talent what-so-ever, i dont know any programing languages

just a bit of html tho i should prolly learn considering i want to help make MMO's later in life....beats being a garbage man...

me and 4 of my friends tryed it.. and belive you me it isnt easy, our friend janus knew alot about modeling and the coding for it, i working with the gfx and models with him while my other friend steve worked on level design, it was a game built like quake/unreal tourny, we had one character model finished it was a chick, and we had one level design all finished.. but that took up almost a year.. haha and we decided to give up, i cant even remember what engine we were using, it looks pretty cool.. i though, i used to have some screens but i dont have em anymore, ill get with my friends and see if they still have any... Janus and a small team are making a game right now its in space.. they have a website but i cant remember wtf its called

Have to respect you for trying. Have you and your buddies thought about getting into the whole modding thing? I've only played UT out of all those FPS games (online, that is - played Quake2 on a LAN which rocked, especially when you knew everyone ) but a good mod = mucho respect. I'm totally amazed at how professional some of those mods are.

One of my friends is part of a group working on a mod at the moment - he's designing the HUD and UI. Will have to ask him whether this mod will ever see the light of day as they've been working on it for like, forever.

Creating a game? In the Spectrum/C64 days maybe .. now? Using today's technology? Should be easier, right? All the powerful tools and applications available. I would *hate* to think about how much effort it would take to create a decent mod never mind a game.

ya thats why i really respect small teams.. like endless ages, peo;le bash that game alot.. but only like 5 people made that game

actually it was only 3 , thats pretty amazing. id love to make a mod, but i dont spend enough time not playing desert combat to learn programming stuff. i know absolutely nothing about programming.

Ya, I have no experience what so ever on making a game. I did have a website about the beginning of an IDEA for a game...wonder if it's still up, I'll have to check on that. A friend of mine was going to try to put it together into a mud for me with some of his other friends, but then guess he just got a lil busy in his life. Haven't really talked to him since then, just ocassionally.

I would be all for the game, but i believe to make a good successful game you'd need a team that works with each other in person. You just can't get your ideas across as well. Look me up in 3 years when i'm done with school and i'll help anyone make a game.
