Which game for me

I like fast combat, immersive story and dungeons, something thats as epic as lord of the rings, casual, and ancient landss to explore. I have a level 16 predator shooting for ranger in EQ2. I like the combat, and the world is so big and interactive, even objects can start quests. I just started the World of Warcraft free trial an hour ago. I played a paladin, the combat was slow, and the first quest was simple. But I liked the graphics and style.

Although i cant suggest wow over everquest as ive never played it, i do suggest you check out wow. The story line in the game blends very well wih the story lines of the Warcraft series. I've never seen the EQ2 combat, but as you get higher in level and get more moves in WoW, combat gets cooler. There is pretty good pvp in WoW, and i dont kno if there is any in EQ2, there may be. Try out war, but play as horde. probably an undead rouge would be best b/c undead is better than everything ever.

    Am I ever wrong??

I've played both and although I'm not subscribed to either one now, I would suggest WoW over EQ2. EQ2 simply had too much zoning in it for me to actually enjoy the game and I disliked the rather bland appearance of the characters. Gameplay was nothing that made me jump for joy and the combat wheel thing seemed more like a cheesey version of FFXI's skillchains. WoW will be fun until you reach the endgame, but maybe by then the expansion will be out and you'll actually have something to do.

Also, I would suggest NOT playing Undead Rogue on the Horde side. Simply put, everyone and their grandmother on the Horde is a rogue, so if you want to increase your chances of getting into a good raiding guild I would play a class that is a little more needed. Undead Shadow Priests are much better for both PvP and PvE.

Aas long as you play undead, it doesnt matter. Just play undead. Mages are good if you don wanna play a priest, and there are always warriors

WOW>EQ2 (Played both quit both). Wow is a funner game hands down. Just dont play a pally combat is sooooooo slow. I recommend Preist or Druid if you wanna have a shot at getting into a good guild. Otherwise I tend to favor warlocks and Hunters if you like to solo. You will be able to lvl up fast with either one. If you pvp mages and rogues are cool. If you cant decide play all the classes up to 20 then pick the one you like best.

I have allways hated WoW There Pking system is too Harsh and it is too bad for NOOB Gamers! Go with EQ2 and you even said the graphics are better than EQ2 I am not being nasty or anything the graphics on EQ2 are way much better than WoW GET A LIFE!! So go with EQ2 the people on there are better than WoW! Or go with Lineage you can ride a dragon image

I put WoW in your poll, however I need to expand.  I have played both on live servers and beta servers.  WoW really is a more "fun" game, particularly if you like to solo.  The sad news is that if you want to advance to 60 and get in a good guild you are going to be spending a great deal of time raiding with your guild and guess what:  EQ2 is and will remain better in the high end.  So, if you are just going to always be a casual player, go wow, if you are going to powergame and then want in on uber guild activities, go EQ2.  Also, note that DAOC is a decent choice if you want good content and fun gameplay without all the high level raiding.  Has good pvp too.  Original EQ is also viable if you are a powergamer and possibly have a friend on a server somewhere.  You cannot beat EQ for content, there literally is not a single fantasy mmo that has more atm.  You could level to 70, get 900 AAs, and still not have seen everything in EQ.

That sounds cool, but in the expansion for you you can ride flying mounts, and one MIGHT be a dragon, so if you are gonna go with a game based on mounts alone, i still say wow. But i never played Lineage b4, so... yea. Still go with wow, but play undead

    1. Dont listen to CARBEARS...

    2. graphics are not everything

    3. The PK system in WOW is not harsh enough

Play EQ2 becuase if you are intending on staying with the game and playing for a while in wow once you get to lvl 60 theres nothing to do in other words wow's end game.
