General: MMORPG.com to Host PAX East Gaming Panel

UPDATE: Chris Roberts [Star Citizen] is now on the panel, as is Jack Emmert [Cryptic Studios]. Jack is filling in for Andy, who can't make the show this year.  The PAX website will be updated accordingly soon.

MMORPG.com is pleased to be hosting a gaming panel featuring some of today's most influential game developers. Called the "Future of Online Games", the panel will feature Garrett Fuller, Matt Firor [ZeniMax Online], Fred Howard [KingsIsle Entertainment], Dave Georgeson [Sony Online Entertainment], Jon Peters [ ArenaNet], Jeremy Gaffney [Carbine Studios], Andy Velasquez [Perfect World Entertainment].

The panel will take place on Friday, March 22nd from 5:30-6:30 p.m. in the Naga Theater.

    such a disapopointing line up.. id be more impressed if Chris Roberts From RSI or even a developer from MMOMagic were on the panel considering they are both attempting to set new standards for the future of MMO and gaming in general.

    Chris Roberts should have been a sure bet considering he is the Legendary Game developer that kicked the PC based Graphics driven games we now play into existance.

    All i see on that list of names is disappointment after disappointment over the last 10 years. What the hell would those lame duck Developement companies know about what tnhe gamers want in the future. All they care about is profit, not bringing what players want.

    Played: UO, LotR, WoW, SWG, DDO, AoC, EVE, Warhammer, TF2, EQ2, SWTOR, TSW, CSS, KF, L4D, AoW, WoT

    Playing: The Secret World until Citadel of Sorcery goes into Alpha testing.

    Tired of: Linear quest games, dailies, and dumbed down games

    Anticipating:Citadel of Sorcery

    Then you'll be happy to hear Chris is on the panel now.  :)  Just added last minute.

    Additionally, Jack Emmert is filling in for Andy Velasquez, who can't make the show this year.
