WoW is deserving of any awards, but SpikeTV?  Do any of us even watch the award show?  Heck, even the G4 one is ultra "mainXtream!!!"  Is there ever going to be an award show for actual "gamers".  Not just the Halo fans?

Deserving of awards, eh? I think not. Nothing new and impressive here...just the same MMO with the leveling pace set for casual players. Oh well. 4 million players can't be wrong...right?

Awards aren't a popularity contest. If they were we wouldn't need a ceremony because we could just look at the sales data.

4 million players can't be wrong when deciding what they like for themselves, and awards are often given by the majority.

I don't play WoW anymore because it doesn't challenge me, as it is way too easy in all regards, but it is a well made game and I appreciated a lot of details and how they wove lore with quests and used quests as a guide to advance your character from lower level zones to higher level zones.

It is a game I would recommend to MMOG novices and to casual gamers and feel is worthy of many awards in several areas.
