Yes you can upgrade to the Hero's Pack if you like. The $60 does not count as they are seperate packages.

I believe after the first 2 years of STO and CO they began to offer the lifetimes once or twice a year at a reduced rate. I think they were originally $299.99 and now they are offered for $199.99

Cryptic stated there will NOT be any lifetime subs for Neverwinter seeing as how it is their very first free to play form ground up.

Unless you desire almost all of the items in those packages, they are not worth it.

Cryptic has a habit of turning exclusive offers into semi-exclusive. Items in the founder's pack if demand is high enough , will  find there way into the C-Store. Beware, they've done it in CO and STO.

As AG described, more "exclusive" items have found their way back to the c-store than not.  Lets be honest, PW and Cryptic have a reputation for flat out greed and caring less about current customers than they do about potential customers.  Do I have to remind anyone how 2 weeks after launch Cryptic started marketing a reduced price ($29.95) for STO which included 60 or 90 days of playtime right after loyal customers purchased the game for $50 and only got 30 free days of play time.  Remember the huge blow up on the forums?  Remember the blow-out when the "store exclusive" items all popped up in the c-store and those crazy people who purchased three copies of STO all freaked out?

Everyone is better off playing this one for a month or two for free and THEN deciding if they want to throw money at Cryptic.  When you pre-order or buy "founders packs" you take away your ability to vote with your wallet.

The founders packs are only available before the game officially launches.  Pretty sure you can't buy them after the game does launch.  They are just combining a bunch of items that will most likely be purchasable through zen, their real money currency when the game does go live.  Founders packs to me are more for showing you support their game, on top of getting early access and what I feel a worthy amount of items to make up for the cost, its worth it to me.

All the founders packs have been updated. Check the Neverwinter website to see.
