There was a Heart Quest in ascalon where one of the tasks was to clear out wasp nests... using hand grenades! :D

I don't quite see a humor in throwing cows with catapult ...sadistic and cruel behavior is not supposed to be funny .... oh well ....

Wait, are we talking about how stupid the story can get that at times it can be funny how silly it is or like literally 'funny moments' in the game? Either way outside the rare moments the story does a good job or the plenty of other times it makes me shake my head in complete disbelief how lame it is, I did find some enjoyment out of some of the story lines. It feels at times like seperate individuals worked on different parts of the story. The side kicks (while extremely predictable) are all quite entertaining and funny, Tybalt (SP) being pretty entertaining as an example.  They are perhaps the high point of the story, even if you ultimately know what will happen  to them they at least did a good job of making the two I seen very likeable and quite humerous as well.

Otherwise how bad the story was at time ended up being just the right type of bad that it did make me laugh, though unfortunately it tended to be more of the painful type. At the least bit those 'so stupid its funny' moments combined with some entertainment dialog from the sidekicks (no, ignoring you know who cause hes... ug) does make the story at least bareable enough to want to use it for leveling and find some enjoyment out of it, at least up to a certain part before it jumps itself off a cliff and loses any bit of entertainment in it.

Actually, what is even better is how some things are tied together.  For example, the cowapult from the article is great.  What's better is elsewhere in the zone are a bunch of Charr who are guarding a tower.  It is their favorite post because it rains cows.  They have more meat than any Charr could want!

    Not just another pretty color.

I've always loved Charr merchants' line: "Break it and I break you!"

Part of a conversation between a Sylvari and a Skritt IQ test subject @ rana landing in Metrica Province:

    Sylvari: What am I?

    Skritt:... flower?

Sylvari: No, try again. What am I?

    Skritt:... a flower?

Sylvari: No. Now try again, this time think really hard. What am I?

    Skritt: ... and angry flower?

     ~

3 sylvari toons later and I still find this conversation amuzing.

The best part of the cow catapult is the 2 charr sentries at the tower where the catapults generally land.

One of them complains of raining cows and how weird his job is.

Goyya love listening to the 2 Charr who are operating the Cowtapult while they are 'working'.

I still crack up at my Norn character who yells. "Fire burns!" whenever he catches on fire.

And the Blacked Out storyline was classic.  Reminded me of my younger days!  :)
