Most MMOPRG's will take more then 35 days to reach max lvl, unless u Bot or have no life.

I think you misunderstood my question.  Most games track the amount of time you've spent playing the game.  My question asked:  "How many days (in game) did it take you to reach max level?"

    Ohhh, I do not remember...maybe 35 days?

um, every game is going to be different. are we talking a specific game or what?

6 months to get max level in WoW for me, not sure what actual /played time was.

for daoc it was like 1.5 years or so, since i ended up quitting at one point, resubbed, got to 50 so i could reroll a 20-30 lvl character, realized that the free 20-30 character sucked because i had no idea what i was doing, where to go, etc. none of my friends or old clan mates still played either.

never got to max level in any other games.

I don't think I have ever reached Max Level in a On line game. I tend to socialize especially if I'm in a guild. When I played Helbreath I spent more time fishing and talking then grinding LOL still got to LVL 120 the max at the time was 180 when internation was in Bata... image

    oh ok, my apologies

I know that i hit lvl 50 in CoH in about 300-400 hours, but i tripled that time after hitting 50 to plvl SG mates and to get influence for alts and SG mates also :)

I havent hit max level in any other game yet

Erm no doubt he did.If he did then he is slow.

He said online time not real time. Thus thats the amount of time the char was on for .

And 10 days is pretty reasonable. My first 60 was 16 days and thats with running around aimlessly and doing all the dungeons as they came.

My second 60 was just10 days and 20 hrs .Though this time i skipped all dungeons after 40 andonly once did a higher level help me with a quest .

I seen ppl who done 60 with hunters in under 9 days  in my guild.

So for WoW 10 days is pretty reasonable espically if you are a hunter.

I've been playing Legend OF Mir 2 for two years now. I went through a phase where I was really hooked when I was playing for a good 8 hours a day, day in day out. Im still no where near the max level. Haha

It's a top game though, you peeps should try it if you havnt already. The graphics are a little dated, but the game play and community are what make it.

Voted 12-16 in World of Warcraft. But the exact number is 17 I just found out.

That differs a lot between games of course.

AO to reach lvl 200, i think I clocked 69 days playtime, thoose were short bursts of powerlevel with very long stretches of exploration and socializing in between.

WoW, not sure but prolly 15-20 days played.

EQ2, i think it was around 30-40 days to hit 50, i was among the 100 first lvl 50 wardens worldwide I know, think it was 83 or something so it was fairly quick.

Not sure I capped in any other game, except Neocron beta maybe, but lvl' there were obscure but I hit 3* in about 2 months RL time, no /played command there that I can remember.

I do not aim to max out levels in games. Therefor after a good 800 days of play (4-8 hours a day) *on my current character* I still haven't reached max level in NexusTK. Easy levels go up to 99 (which were done after a good 60 days and are possible within a 48hour limit) After that there are currently three questable levels (il/ee/sam), which can be started after experience selling for physical attributes (for those the sky is the limit aka not maxable). The minimum time to reach the third questable rank is 351 days.

Why is Max level so important in most mmorpgs ? Why rush through content you could actually enjoy ? It's flawed logic, it's not a single player game, when you reach that max level you didn't "win" the game, no matter how fast you did it. Don't take the "competitive" logic from regular games to an mmorpg. There is no winning in an "rpg", there's reaching goals as you reach goals in life. And while being the strongest or most talented certainly is one of those goals people set out for themselves, it surely isn't reflected by the time it took you to reach max level. It'ld be better reflected by your fame on the server you're playing on.

It's funny how you never see threads about the guy that became guild leader fastest or how much time that took him... image

because most games tout that the game doesn't really start until you hit max level, like wow did.

when in all reality, once you hit max level, there's nothing to do.

To be honest to reach max lvl in that time you must be a suckish no life! And play them constantly and have no more fun in life! HAHA!

umm....you're posting in a forum about mmorpgs...what did you expect? no need to insult people either.

It took me about... 6 months or so to reach lvl 50 with my Warden back when I was playing EQ2, mostly because I played more for the community and my guild then actually attending to the game, which was just boring. When I went back for 30 days after the expansion, I managed to get to 53 within about 15 or 17 days, but got bored of the same old gameplay style and left for good.

Back in SWG days I was a grind-o-hollic because I was rushing through proffession to be one of the first to unlock Jedi, which I ended up getting on Dec. 6th, 7th to unlock on my server from what we could all find out :) I guess that was sort of max level at that point, but hence was the nice part of SWG of lore was that you always had something different to take on.
