Ok, Honostly I know people are just curious as wo what our opinions are on what games are good and what not but it is seriously getting ridiculous on how many "Need new mmo!" "Help me find a new game!" "Looking for a MMO to try!". Seriously, you are just contradicting yourself. You are Not "Looking" for a new mmo, you arn't even trying, you are just asking people to give you a list so you don't have to go "looking"(that word again you use) yourself!

So Please,
before you go off posting one of those threads, just take a breath..and do some research. All the information is out there if you are willing to take the time.

    More specifically, I'm waiting for The Chronicle comes out... and then for the other MMOCenter game. Always forget the name, Life and Death? The zombie vs. humans MMO (hell yes).

    Not really sure what SoG or DnL are, though.

    If they really wanted something new ask them to list a game not on the top 5 for once. As far as I can see, in the last few days every single one of those threads goes the same way. Play wow, Play EQ2! Play EvE....omg shut up about eve..and then it's an eve fanboi/hate thread.

    I kind of agree with the OP but only because I'm sick ( already ) of seeing people argue about that game.

    So how long before this thread too grows to about 17 pages of dirt and stupidity just like the Aladdin:Curse of The Magic Genie thread? I'd say about one or two days, who's taking betS?

    hehe, sorry. Its just every morning i logged on i saw another poor sap saying "Need new MMO" and since it was like the 5th one i saw cluttering up the forums...it sorta irritated me to the point where i wanted to rant =P. I am cooled down now though ::::01::.

    I don't know... whilst I certainly understand your frustration, even some times share it, in all honesty it doesn't bother me that much.

    When I see posts from people looking for a new mmo, or asking other's oppinions on a list of mmo's (often followed by the poll's we all know and love), I know it's caused and created by either new players to the mmo community or experienced players just looking for a little support and guidance.

    I really don't see the problem with either of these, in fact it's a great thing to have a community, to be able to ask questions that have been answered 5 billion times should not be an annoyance, but a welcome opportunity to embrace others and help when and how we can, even if it is a little frustrating.

    So maybe, practising a little patience would be in order or maybe just a slight change in perspective, we are here to help each other, grow together, learn from each other, because in the end above all the playing and games and launches and developments in the games we all love, all we really have is each other as gamers and a genre we've chosen, isn't that worth a little minor frustration ?

    ya, maybe we should just make a sticky named "Game Suggestions" and post how each game works so those "Need MMORPG" threads dont pop up twice a day.

    EDIT: I just counted 8 new threads of "Need MMORPG" today.

    It is pretty annoying seeing 5 "NEED A NEW MMO!!!!!!!!!" threads everyday.  The top 7 player rated games are on the home page.  That list summarizes the entire sites opinions.  Starting a new thread is only going to get you a select few people's opinions.   

    There is no best MMORPG, only favorites.
