ok i had the 14 day free trial (not anymore) so im wondering...WHERE IS EVERYONE?!?!
all the towns i went to were ghosts towns if you dont include NPCs

you can piece together their population by the counts taken by various people in game and whats said out of game.
With that I will say world wide approx 15K play horizons. Its a small game there is no denying that and it can at times seem like a ghost town. That being said it seems most people hang out at the portal hub of Bristugo. That is where you will find the greatest concentration of people.
But yes if you are playing an MMO to be around a lot of people than games like Shadowbane and HZ are definitely not for you. But if you want a small tight due to simple basic math community ( as in the lower the population the less chance of a jerk factor due to simple math.. has nothing to do with the quality of the game ) than games like HZ and Shadowbane are for you.
