FF7 Tips Needed...

Ok, due to SD yackin' off about Final Fantasy 7 and how good it was- (making me all nostalgic and what not) I've started playing it again. I've only played through the entire 3 discs once- when it actually came out a millenia ago.

I'm at the part where Cloud (or BadMOFO as I name my guy) was all messed up by his good buddy Sepheroth and is now sick in a wheel chair with the brunett chick by his side. Here are some questions I hope some of you can answer:

WTH happens when you collect all 12 of the 1/35 sized shinra soldier dolls?
WTH happens when you read all 6 of the Turtle Soup bar posters?
HTH do I breed a chocoboo that can run over oceans and mountains?
Has anyone beat ALL of the "Weapons" created by the planet?
Lastly, which was your most favorite Creature to Summon?

2. goddammit, its right on the tip of my tongue, cant remember though. i think it might be some1 final limit? or final weapon.
3. hmmm... i think thats a black chocobo. and my best guess would be a green and blu chocobo, with some kinda nut. look this stuff up dude.
4. yes, emerald was mofo-in hard though.

Actually, the chocobo that goes through oceans is gold. It's black breeded with... something... I kinda forgot...

Well you must remember, there are two types of ocean. Shallow, and deep. Only the gold can go through the deep AND get over mountains to get to Knights of the Round.

Those damn Chocobo's. It took me for ever to breed a gold one. You have to breed using a special kind of nut plus you have to race them over and over again to make them good enough to breed to the next stage. Plus you have to catch the damn thing in the first place. Personally i think it took me hours to get a gold one finally. I would look up gamefaqs.com it has all the info i think.

About the dolls I don't think anything happens. In fact from what I've heard you can get all 12, there is only like 10 or 11 but that was from the first strategy guid I had for the game. Getting a gold one sucks and I couldn't do it without the guide, kinda complex needing a "wonderful" chocobo which is damn near impossible to get, and a black/purple chocobo.

I beat the game without anything except the Ultima Weapon.

Chocoboooo, Gold can do anything oceans,rivers,mountains and so on. To get it you must breed a green and blue chocobo toget a black, and then mix the black with i beleive a great chocobo thats found in the snowy area (forgot name) it pops out with 2 wolves. thats just what i remember...id go into more detail but my minds a bit foggy. you can get a gold from some guy if you turn in a item the ruby weapon drops....i think...never got that chocobo tho, heard it sucks and mine was uber 1337 =P beat S class without using turbo

yea, chocobo rasing was the greatest. and i know u needed a seed on an island in the northeast corner, had something to do with goblins. i forget. and i never turned in the item from ruby, i allrdy had 3 golds. ruby was easy compared to emerald... ugh, i crushed many a controler fighting it.

I've been all over this damned land and I cannot find a "Good" chocoboo to mate with a "Great" choc to get a mountain or river choc. Is there any way I can just beat the hell outta the Chocoboo Sage and take his????

And all you guys screaming how you beat the game with like a damn toothpick and Omnislash (only the most powerfull limit in the game)- Yay, you get a cookie.

Dont forget you have to race them repeatedly at some stage too to make them better before you mate them

actually I didn't have omnislash. o.O And yes, if you beat the game without it you still use it during that last fight with Sephiroth. Though you really can't call it a fight. XD

Mahn, i never did beat the game even tho i got so much stuff.....i could have mind you, but i spent soooo much time breeding chocobos and just having fun, then one fateful day my brothers friends stole my memory card and game

i barley managed to find a copy of it for the PC...like the last copy in existence! and a copy for the PS again, so should beat it someday if i find time from other games to go back to it.... by the way, Knights of the round + Mime and Final attack + phoenix summon = best if all your characters have mime so nice

Thats is weird i didnt think to check the link personally when i posted it. But u can still go to their website and browse for it as their site is free i use it all the time. That FAQ is the best one ive found .

Actually... as far as the weapons go, I would say ruby is harder because you have to have 2 members dead, or he sends them outta battle for good, before you can even hurt him. Not to mention the fact that you can't use lucky 7s on him. I had a lot harder time with ruby than emerald. But if you get the item from emerald you can trade it in for the 3 master materia set, and then you don't even need knights of the round, and thusly, don't need a golden chocobo. (so annoying breeding troubles time for the best summon)

If you have trouble with emerald and don't with ruby, then I think sumtins wrong with you...

well emerald could take you out in 1 hit. i think the only way to beat him i found was have the materia that lets u cast something right before u die, and life attached to that.

Uuuuuuh, final strike? Mime? 3 Master Materia set??? Damn how the hell did I finish the game the first time w/out seeing these goodies? I think breeding Chocs is abit frustrating but a rather fun aspect of the game. Unfortunately I can't do that right now because Dio (some queer lookin' dude) shut down the park.

Damn Knights of the Round was good, only problem when you had that sucker casting then repeating etc it took nearly 10 minutes for one guy to have his go while you watched the knights over and over.

Mmmm i heard but never tried this, that if you go into the fight with ruby having 2 members dead, and them using like a phoenix materia to bring them in at a certain point, they can stay in the whole fight.

thats just what i heard, never tried.
