I have the luck to be part of developing a block building game. And as an old regular poster here on this site, I wanted to share the first things that is being shown from BAW -Build a world.

    Anyway after a year in hidding we are not out in the open, and hopefully we can launch a beta in the near future, with a modern game in a modern world.

    (i know this  can be read as shameless promoting, but on the other hand i really want to give peple here a chance to watch out and schime in as this project takes form, and i also really like to here peoples thought and feedback about it.

    The look of the game is quite nice. I have spent a lot of time in Minecraft, so I'd like to see more about where you take this game.

    Thx. I am happy that you like the looks of the game- we are mixing things up a little with realistic style and bloks and caronish avatars , but hopefully it works out in the end.

    It is not an MMO- it comes with fully integrated multiplayer option where you don't have to setup your private server youself . It's a choice you click if you want your game to be accessble by others that knows the codeword you set , or totally free for all mayheim. So far we have not planned for any other character progression than what you get by getting materials enough that you actual can build it or upgrade your tools. But the feature in the game we call "constructions" is  going to give you a progression , because when you have figured out a construction once , then you can just click to place that building in the world without having to put all the blocks up again. But you still have to mine all the stuff needed.
