Searching for a server and some returning questions

in Final Fantasy XI

Hi, I'm returning to FFXI after taking about a year break to play WoW which I am now bored of. I was just wondering what server has a very high population so I can try to level fast and be on top again. Also is there some kind of sight I can go to to check server populations, I cant seem to find one. I heard RNG got a nerf as well, is it still on top as the best DD? or have all the servers been flooded with them. And one other thing, any job suggestions would be great :) as I'm not sure whats been tweaked in the last year.

    Personally, I dont think they are the best DD anymore in general, but there are still good RNGs. They got screwed hard in that patch though. I'd say the "new RNG" would be either MNK or WAR.

    Actually, most people I talk to seem to think that the "new RNG" is BLM.

    BLM was always the best DD for all situations, they arent a new RNG. Plus, they are a mage not a melee ;p
