Yeah not indentical I conceed, but things like different forum access, the FP's seem to hold similar weight and talks about beta 2/3 access.. As well as both mentioning the $1 a year subs..

As a thank you to both Massively and MMORPG (since both sites have been wonderful about coverage), I wanted to break up the tiers into two groups. MMORPG got the digital tiers (since MMORPG's posters contributions have had a HUGE impact on the rewards) and Massively got the physical good tiers. Keep in mind that each site also only got a sampling of each type of tier (due to size) and our Kickstarter has quite a few more.
Thanks again to MMORPG and the community here, you really had a profound impact on the rewards/Founder's Points concept and execution.

Yes, definitely hoping for this one. $200 for alpha access ... So tempting.
I'm liking these 2. $110(beta2 access) for just me, $150(beta3 access) if wife wants to play... I'd like to be in alpha, but I know it's will also be frustrating. So I can wait or hopefully get in by other means.
Pledge Tier $110 – Comes with everything above plus special starter armor (cosmetic difference only), special starter weapon (cosmetic difference only), founder’s wall plaque, unique trophies, unique dyes, digital copy of the art book, special in-game thanks, extra character slots (# TBD), discounted sub rate ($ TDB), Gold forum badge, Beta 2 access, 40 total FPs and a total of 3 months of free subscription.
Pledge Tier $150 (a two for one tier) – Comes with 2 digital copies of the game, everything in the $50 tier, special starter armor (cosmetic), special starter weapon (cosmetic), wall plaque and an additional free month of subscription for each copy of the game, 40 FPs for each account, discounted sub rate ($ TBD), Beta 3 access and Gold forum badge.

Mark, I think you're owed a bigger thank-you for sharing your design dream with us, and even inviting us to help shape it.
That effort alone has me more excited for this game than any other in my lifetime. So thank you!

awesome. digitals ftw. I don't need more physical clutter. :P
What I would really like to know is how much 1 FP will buy at the founder's store. For example, how many FP to reserve my name etc. ? This will definitely be a big part of my decision as to how many extra FP to buy if at all.

Since these are the lower level tiers, would it be possible to see one of the higer level tiers or would it just be a combination of the ones that we see?
Mark, its a good idea in theory to give some info to one and other info to another, but honestly it is creating a shit-ton of confusion. You *might* want to reconsider consolidation of the information entirely on the official website or something for each of these sites to link to for more information...
The weapons/armour that are for the $110 tier, I recognise that these are cosmetic differences only, but will they last the progression of the game or only a short duration? It would be frustrating to have these rare items (appearance-wise) but have to trade them in quickly to maintain your stats.
Any insight Mark? Will the items last long than a few levels? Basically a few hours for hardcore player lol

It'll be consolidated on KS site were you will actually pledge.

Thanks. I'm pretty happy with those tiers too. As I said in the articles, I really tried to fill up the tiers with more stuff than any other game-based Kickstarter I've reviewed as a thank you to the backers and to the guys/gals on the forums and other key individuals. I thought the discounted sub rate was a particularly nice perk if CU has the longevity that I hope it will.

I appreciate it but you can thank me if CU becomes the game I hope it will be. Until then, it's my responsibility to thank the posters, friends and others who have embraced CU to date and hopefully will give CSE & I our opportunity to make a great MMORPG.

That has been a trend in most of the game-based Kickstarters that I reviewed. It is for that reason as well as the financial issues discussed on the Massively piece, that I focused on the digital tiers. I can always add more physical tiers if there is demand but from what I've seen and heard, the vast majority of people would prefer lots of digital stuff and the ability to buy some physical items down the road.

There will be a follow-up piece in which I'll discuss things such as this. I'm not avoiding the question, just defering it so that there is something to write about in Part 2.

As per my answer above, not today. However, if what tier(s) would you be interested in? I know that MMORPG will be looking for questions to ask me in Part 2.

Right, until people look at Massively's Tiers because they don't visit this forum and decide that they can't afford to pledge at that level, and therefore don't bother to hit the KS at all.
Personally, I hope for some physical, non-physical combined tiers. I am looking forward to an alpha access tier with cloth map and posters and decent ingame founder gifts for under 500$. I would like to have some similar tiers like the 500$ tier without the one or two extra copy of the game. If I need extra copies for friends, i would buy as much low cost tiers with a game copy (25$) as I need.
MMO's played so far: UO,EQ,DAOC,EQ2,GW,ROM,WOW,WAR,AOC,LOTRO,RIFT,TSW,GW2,POE Looking forward to: Camelot Unchained, Star Citizen
Great good that you changed the name from 'reward cash points' to founders points it feels ten times better and it won't make people confused
"Pledge Tier $150"- " Comes with everything in the $50 tier"
does it mean that it comes with total 3 months of subscription per account with lowered cost of sub? If yes that's my tier ^^
"What I decided to do instead was to use a system where each pledge tier comes with a certain number of “Founder’s Points” that can be spent inside the game in a backers-only store"
hmmm how can we reserve the name, will it be in beta? If store is in game then we need to create character first (so how can resever name) i'm confused
BTW I can't believe I can see there things i suggested: "discounted sub rate" and " reserving your character name". Well maybe Mark thought about it before me, but If not I'm so happy I could somehow help and it was listened
Good luck Mark, we really believe that it's the game we were waiting for so long time
As per my answer above, not today. However, if what tier(s) would you be interested in? I know that MMORPG will be looking for questions to ask me in Part 2.
I'd like to know about the top tiers, the 5000$, 10000$ ones.
I'd also very much like to know if the kickstarter will launch early or late this week, so I can at least confine my OCD-like refreshing of the various CU-pages to a couple of days. Don't want to be caught off guard and miss out on something.
For me it really boils down to the $110 beta 2 vs the $200 alpha. Depending on how much the discounted sub rate is, the $250 "lifetime" sub might be in the running too.

The one on the front page here seems to be completely different...
strange because they have pretty similar, near identical ideas... different $$$ but still..
