I used to watch hockey until the strike, then I lost alot of interest. I still watch American Football, but my brother got me into Rugbe. Now that's a damn fine game.
And amateur boxing...so you don't have all the huge egos and fixed fights.
Rugby union is good (prolly what your playing) Rugby league is teh sux, its just too much stop start play.
The thing that made me fall in love with aussie rules both as a player (in my younger days sonny) and as a rabid spectator now, is that it is very free flowing and you can have exciting passages of play that go for like 10 mins without a stoppage in a good game. Where as so many other games including American Football (which I do really like) go from stoppage to stoppage. Im actually glad I have only ever watched US footy on TV coz it seems like being at the game would be worse coz you have to sit there while they change teams and stuff all the time.
