my master entertainer can /respec to a master trader but if i respec to a combat profession i start out as a combat level 1. but a combat level 1 thru 90 can respec into master entertainers or master traders(crafters) that one had the crafters going nuts, i cant say i blame them. i heard of a couple of cases of some (i dont know if this is true or not) entertainers respecing to a combat class, fighting a little going back to entertainer and loosing there master.
i /respeced once and i became a master politician. i never had one box of politician, but alot of people who did have some or most of the poitician tree converted to there rightful level. infact a couple actually lost some skill.. i was running around before with the master politician title. i wonder if we could run for election in player towns? some guy on the forums who was a mayor said his whole guild became master politicians except ofcourse for him.
commando's cant use heavy weapons anymore, but i believe the intro movie shows them using them. i dont know if this intentional or a bug, but i believe one of the draws to commando is using your FT isnt it?
the reason i brought these couple of things up is that stuff like this and alot of other game breaing stuff wasnt brought up in irc chat with devs last night.. well i would hardly have called it a chat seeing as you had to page one of the ops with your question and then cthey pick the question they like and asks itto the devs..

Anyone can pick up novice politician (unless the NGE bugged that) and as long as you're a citizen, you can run for election in that city. The fact that some people suddenly got master politician due to a conversion bug doesn't really change things. You can't really use it to cause anymore trouble than what you could have done as novice politician. If some mayors that used to be master politicians convert into less than master politician, well - that's a more serious bug IMHO.
Anyway, been there, done that. With the current player city system, it sucks to be a mayor since your options are so limited and the NGE is going to make the ghost town issue even worse.
I'm a big ol' fluffy carewolf. Be afraid. Be very afraid.
well i cant confirm if they did actually lose any skills in the NGE, on that im just going by posts in the forums. but i can tell you i never had any politician training at all, and came post nge as a master politician.
on a personal i feel undervalued since the NGE in a non combat role. i suspect alot of politicians might feel the same way..
