    First the Tron armor now a Krogan, what's next? A Transformer, lol. I really wanted this game to succeed because I loved KOTOR and that time period of Star Wars. But EA/BW just killed it trying to be like WoW, and now look at the dumb crap that are putting into the game. Not to mention how that are milking players with the CM.

    The universe is a big place.  My take on this is two fold:

     

    1.  Just because they didn't introduce a certain species in the movies, doesn't make it non-canon.   Space is huge, why not introduce new species to make the game more interesting?  Frankly, I'm tired of seeing chewbaccas and Rancors and the same ol same ol.   MMO means masssive, just like the universe.

    2.  Remember, this game takes place in another time period then movies.   We don't know the species that existed during that time period, how can we say what belongs in game and not.

     

    I stopped playing the game for other reasons, but really think we should open our minds.  The universe is ... oh wait, I said that already.    :)

    Its much cheaper to reuse Mass effect artwork in SW:TOR

    2. kinda doubt krogan would be anywhere in the picture ;)

    It's impossible to have only one or two tribbles unless you plan on never feeding them ;)

    that is the very purpose of this action

    people have always complained about the lifeless and static world of swtor

    i have decided to do something about it,,imagine coruscant covered in a 3 foot layer of tribbles

    Tribbles wouldn't happen, different publishers.   Since its EA owned they can do whatever they want.  They'll probably use simspeak as an alien language, use some of the station or ship models because their out of good ideas. 

     

    I wanted to tryout this game when it went F2P but was stop due to the crazy password requirements.

    Cultural reference jokes are pretty common in a lot of games. Some people love them, some groan. Here Bioware made a funny with their own IP ME. To read more into it seems silly to me.

    It's a joke. Laugh or groan.

    *EDIT* Granted, the koke would have been funnier if Makeb had been released closer to Mass Effect 3's release as originally intended.

    considering how much they have copied directly from wow, i would say their biggest concern was:

    can we get busted, if we use it...
