Harry Potter mmorpg?

Wondering if anybody had ever heard of this before. Goind to see the movie tomorrow so it just crossed my mind hahahah. I dun think it would be too terrible of an idea ::::28::

    i think it would be awsome but it depends on how they make it, like they gotta make the classes in terms of Gryffindor, Slytherin, Ravenclaw, & Hufflepuff

    LoL i was hoping that for obvious perposes, that the school should be a 1/4 or a 1/3 of the map and then maybe the 2nd 1/4 or 1/3 should be the forest and iunno about the rest... hey they can incorperate the Quidditch as a mini-game or something ;p that might be thinking too big... image

    A Harry Potter MMO?

    Sounds good in theory, but the amount of kiddies playing that game would make WoW's population look like...well...it would just be bad =).

    yeah but how many "kiddies" are gonna convince their parents to pay monthly for a game. i think it'd be pretty much the same amount/age of WoW. no??? ::::20::

    You don't have to make an MMORPG about EVERYTHING, the genre's diluted enough as it is.

    Although it wouldn't surprise me if they did make HP Online

    exactly. like there isn't enough harry potter crap, er, i mean merchandise already?

    i'm not even sure how a harry potter mmo would work...

    Well, given the age range that the Potter series is mostly aimed for (even though many adults, including myself, read the books), I would guess that a Harry Potter MMO would be more akin to a Toontown Online experience, ie very kid friendly.

    What would you do? Light up your wand to see in dark hallways? Potter's group was the only ones to go into the woods. A couple thousand people might look suspicous. And the school wasn't like a public highschool, it looked like a couple hundred kids -that's a lot of shards. Which leaves Quidditch and going to class. Oh, and a lot of studying and doing homework. Not enough evil wizards around to try and kill every player, every year. Unless there were multiple schools, and they were only used for a tutorial system, and it was more of a Harry Potter-based world -I don't see it working.
