well said. the "little people" mmo industry is making money though. look at Ragnarok Online and how much money Gravity is making. RO doesnt really fit me though.
I usually check out the webage of any game before I start playing it. On the official Flyff page, I went to their forum and saw a lovely thread with screenshots of player names appearing in the game, and comments in that thread about how cool those names were. That's about the point I decided it wasn't worth my time. I'd mention some of the names, but several of them would likely get me a lifetime ban on any reputable message board system just for thinking them for too long. While I don't particularly like stuff like xxxSephiroth69xxx, I can live with it. The filth popping up over there is just well over the line, though, and a sure sign there's no attempt whatsoever at moderation. Even a great game can be ruined by terrible community.

Anyhow... that game looks ridiculous. I actually gave Ragnarok a try... that game reminds me of Progress Quest (anyone seen that?
) with a GUI.

Playing Navy Field (www.navyfield.com) and waiting for Vanguard.
Tried it out, was at lvl 7 or something when i started wondering what i was doing there... must be the worst community i've ever seen.
ROSE Online and FlyFF are pretty much the same thing, between jelly beans and pukepukes the low level monsters really need to be changed. The monsters in FlyFF however changes from childish to a more mature scene at like lvl 17+. However ROSE Online your at lvl 25-30 and your still messing around with like snails, beetles and racoons...
Yeah, FlyFF has is problems (Unbalanced, Community, Name Filter, Etc), but its a free game what you expect and its only in 2nd beta phase.. which btw i thought they would've solved some of the issues in the game
