Healthy Community

The experience of being apart of healthy, breathing community of this  game ablazes my imagination of what it may become. Its not even out yet and we already have such a good start. I mean the heart of a game is not specifically its gameplay mechanics or top 10/10 graphics but the community itself. By sharing our ideas and respecting each other we are creating a game that we want to play. I cant say how many times I was let down on the social asspect of the game that i even quited it... When i loging and can interact with others with no frustation i am willing to exchange that into best graphics etc.

Mark I got to say to you sir are that you are a big part of this. A lot of devs just make us blindly look for a light swicth in the dark but u lead us and share with us, I cant say how  important this to CU and every fan of it.

Just remember we can create the game we always wanted. Let your imagination loose, and share between each other, be friendly and respectfull. I wish best luck for this game and all of u :) keep up the good work.

I wasn't gonna intially gonna play CU, but now i just have to, after reading this post, i will have to play just to Troll, and don't worry i'll bring over Some Dota and LoL community they're the most fun ones(Toxic), considering how younger and younger, and more and more ignorant are the players in video games, due to games going mainstream, i cannot accept that here exists a game with a "Healthy Community"

Maybe i should also ask Athenewins to play CU, that should bring out the worst 12 years old kiddos out to CU :P

Don't worry im a Professional Troll, i've been doing this for 11 years now !

U can only except high quality, sophisticated trolling, with so much sarcasm, satire, and "Ad Hominem", that u wouldn't be able to fill the Earth full of it, if it was hollow on the inside xD :P

no fault of the game, but with all the a holes in its forum community so far don't even put the expectation there.

From what I've read, thus far, trolls won't last long in the game.  The grind will be too arduous and the opportunities to grief will be too few.

My experience has been mostly positive. There are some with an unreasonable hatred towards Mark (he makes GAMES not LAWS or anything else worth getting twisted up over!). Theres others who don't like the fans here getting excited about something and feel obligated to tell them so. Some are upset there isn't going to be PVE. Outside of that, I think this forum has been pretty good considering what I usually find on this site. For the most part I don't think, despite all their hand-wringing, negativity, or "educating" the fans of CU from their pulpit, they have had too much impact on the people who are supporting CU and Mark.

That being said, I still am looking forward to the backer forums being open up. While I thank MMORPG.com for the opportunity for us to discuss this game and I've met some really cool people in this forum, I only joined up because of Mark and CU and don't plan on spending nearly as much time here after they open up.

I agree.  I love the community and the individuals within it.  We all bring different ideas to the table and while we may not always agree, it usually doesn't evolve into a flame war unless a troll is present.  I've been extremely busy the last week or so, as I've been rather withdrawn from the forum, but I'm still lurking in the shadows!

I'm very excited to see this community grow and become something amazing as the game launches into live status.

My name is Plastic-Metal and my name is an oxymoron.

Aye, the community is really good here. We have dealt with a few trolls on here already. We all seemed to yawn with a sort of...really, you're trolling, attitude, and moved on to whats more important, CU

It is in truth not for glory, nor riches, nor honours that we are fighting, but for freedom — for that alone, which no honest man gives up but with life itself. ~Declaration of Arbroath

Yep. Same here. Once official forums are open, that's where I'll be - community building :)
