Reward Tiers Part 2

Ok here is my predicament.  I can't really afford any tiers above $250-$300 which leaves me with either the Warrior Forever or the Physical Phat lewt tiers both for $250 each.  My problem is I really would like the cloth map, manual, poster, and mouse pad from the Physical Phat lewt tier.  However it lacks the lifetime sub (which the Warrior Forever tier has but lacks the physical items I want) which I feel I need to get as I plan on playing this game for a very, very long time.

So if things don't change with the tiers at this level, I would be forced to get the Warrior Forever tier and miss out on the physical items I listed above as I am prioritizing the lifetime sub over them.  So my two questions are will I be able to use some of my Founder's Points to purchase say, the cloth map, mouse pad, poster, and manual?  Or is it possible to add the lifetime sub to the Physical Phat lewt tier while keeping it at a similar price point such as $275-$300?

Well I must say I'm quite disapointed beause I was looking for the old tier at 500$ (lifetime+internal testing)

Despite of the fact I have a lot of time to bring into the tests I really want the lifetime, and the tier at 750$ is so damn high for me. (I keep my golds for more beers)

edit: I really mean it, and you will see. As I was one of the top flooder in warhammer - france forums since alpha, I will be the first flooder in the CU alpha (despite of being since IT image )

The $500 is going to sell sooner, so if you buy early you get extra FP.  When it's gone, then the $550 is still there.

This don't explaine the missing platinum bedge :P

As said by Arnfiarnunn: The 500$ tier felt as an mix of IT + Lifetime before, which could be afforded by me. Narf ^^ I will invest 500 anyway, but I m a little sad. Made overtimes all february next to university to be able to help out in the "alpha"(internal) part. Good luck CSE and never loose ure ironical and humoristical way of writing.

With this post, i officially try to apply for an internal tester spot :P

If all together is just available in a higher tier I have to sell my pents in return. ^^  (pls add a panties+500$ tier :D) ok ok....just kidding

    greetings ;)

Time for a quick post then back to work.

For those that are worried about the IT selling out, I urge you not to worry. We will be looking for people to move into it based on participation on our forums. Since we want and need testers who can communicate clearly, participate in helping to improve CU, etc. the forums will be a wonderful place to prove it. That's one of the reasons I decreased the number of slots, I wanted to have plenty of room to invite people into the IT.

That's a great idea, Mark. Notice that I am posting on these forums in a clear and concise manner ;P

edited to make gramatical and spelling corrections. OK maybe not so clear and concise

    Right to the point:

$500 Limit 2000 THE WHOLE SCHMEAR - DIGITAL ONLY

This tier entitles you to all the HERO FOREVER rewards + AN ADDITIONAL 60 FOUNDER’S POINTS (160 total) + 4 EXTRA BETA INVITES (Beta 3) + 4 EXTRA CHARACTER SLOTS, FOUNDER’S HOUSING ITEMS and you receive ALL FUTURE CAMELOT UNCHAINED EXPANSION PACKS FOR FREE. Estimated delivery of Alpha Access: August 2014.

MJ Notes: This early adopter tier is the first one that adds free expansion packs for Camelot Unchained to the purchaser. Between that and all the rewards from the Hero Forever tier, it’s another full tier. I also increased the number of “early adopter” units based on feedback I’ve gotten.

$550 Limit 3000 THE WHOLE SCHMEAR II - DIGITAL ONLY

This tier entitles you to all the HERO FOREVER rewards + an ADDITIONAL 50 FOUNDER’S POINTS (150 total) + 4 EXTRA BETA INVITES (Beta 3) + 4 EXTRA CHARACTER SLOTS, FOUNDER’S HOUSING ITEMS + YOUR FORUM BADGE IS UPGRADED TO PLATINUM and you receive ALL FUTURE CAMELOT UNCHAINED EXPANSION PACKS FOR FREE. Estimated delivery of Alpha Access: August 2014.

MJ Notes: Like most of the early adopter pairs, this was the model for the tier which I then upgraded for early adopters.

Before it felt like the 500$ tier is meant to be an IT-tier. I'll adopt u anyway.

After plenty years and a bunch of MMORPGs I'd really love to be kind of helpful.

Is there a possibility to win, gain or to apply to the IT?

    Greetings from GMT+1

It was a typo. Hero Forever (the base tier for The Whole Schmear) gets a Plat badge and so do both the TWS and TWS II. Sorry for the confusion, I've just corrected it.

Quick question: What is the reasoning for tiers above Internal Testing that grant internal testing not rewarding the "Dragonium" forum badge and the Bug slayer title?

On a tangent, a good way to get the wrong sort of testers is by rewarding exclusives like this.

Dedication, I hope.  Anyone who gets the IT access will have to help us out. If they don't, they will lose access/badge/title. If they do, they earned the badge since that is the one thing that they must do. No other tier has the requirement to help that the IT Access Tier does. Anyone who buys the IT tier just to get the access and then blows us off, will lose access. That's why all the language is in the tier.

For people who buy the other tiers that have IT access, if they show us they helped out, well, I think we'll be able to upgrade them. :) The IT access on the other tiers is a bonus, not a major component. I wasn't going to add it to any but the really high end tiers but I figured if I didn't, people would be mad. So, I added it on, waived the testing requirement and I'll leave it up to the backers to actually show up when we need them. If they help, they will get the badge/title/etc. That's fair isn't it?

Our pre-pro/IT testing is going to be a very interesting time. I have no doubt that people will be surprised at what happens (good and bad) for those that either really help out or don't. Because of my self-imposed reluctance to enter into people-tossing, I'll simply say that if we fund, just watch what happens on the forums/game. I told people here and elsewhere I was serious about thanking them, thus the "stuffed like a turkey" tiers. I told people that I would listen to what they had to say, I have and I think I've already proven that too. I'll now say that people who prove that they can and do help us, will have more than a laurel and hardy handshake. :)

LOL. Considering that my use of proper grammar is a rare thing indeed (about as often as the NYJ do something smart), I won't be all that picky.

I think most adults are happy with at least a little effort.  As long as you TRY to use proper grammar/puncuation and don't spell things like "wat r u doin 2night?!?!?", I think you'll be ok.  Everybody makes mistakes, but it's very easy to see who tries and who doesn't.

How soon after Kickstarter ends will the CU Forums open?  Immediately, when IT testing starts, something in between?  Just curious.

I believe their plan is to open them "immediately," where "immediately" means "as soon as we reasonably can."

In other words, I would not expect them up the day the game gets funded, but within a short time after that.

I would like to get the IT acces from forum participation^^

The problem is i'm a student for now but i don't know what will be my situation next year when IT launch :/

Is there a way to get in and be able to let my spot to another if i see that i won't have the time? Around 3 month beforehand i should be pretty sure, maybe even before that.

Is anyone else highly entertained by the thought of the whole lot of us with our eyes are now going buggy from scribbling madly in notebooks or making our own mini-Mark spreadsheets?  LOL.

I can't wait to see the next post.  Not that I am feeling overly-burdened with money, but it's so much fun to see what they have come up with - really creative stuff, in tons of interesting combinations.I am hoping to go for one of the IT tiers in some form.  There is just too much wonderful possibility in all this not to do everything I can to make it go...even in my own small way.  And I love possibility.

Besides, it seems like an area where my tendency to overthink would shine. ;)

<edit to satisfy my Inner Grammar Nerd...see, there's the overthinking already, and I haven't even had my tea yet, pfft.>

I have to say, I'm a bit disappointed with the first guild tier. Handing out a lot of digital copies is obviously the first step if you want to please guildies. But I'm not so fond with the rest of the bonuses. Obviously, I don't know what will be the content of the two others tiers, but...

I'm pretty sure guilds that would pledge for such tiers are not so much interested in FPs or beta invites (these are nice additions, tho). You talked a lot about different kind of prides, Mark. Believe me, my personnal pride is my guild (Clan Neanias, a dwarf-only(ish) RP oriented RvR-lovers community), and I know a lot of people feel the same. So, I don't know what you guys have planned for the 2 remaining guild tiers, and that's prolly too late, but I think you should consider these tiers as opportunities for guildmates to show off their pride and feel almighty, more than just a bunch of people gathering dollars to access more personal bonuses.

I'm not sure I made my point here, hope you'll get it ;)

I'm hoping the BSC contains all of the digital and physical items. Obviously, I want the contribution to still pull in money for CSE  but as a collector, I'd have a rreeaallyy hard time deciding on which tier to take when odd things like "Housing Founder items" are missing from certain physical tiers and such.

I guess I have to get the Warrior Forever tier (for lifetime sub) despite the fact I wanted the cool physical items included in the Physical Phat lewt tier.  I see that a tier was made that combines the physical items with the lifetime sub, but the price jumps up to $450 from $250, which is nearly double.

I very much appreciate the fact that Mark heard our opinions and created a tier like this combining the physical items with the lifetime sub.  Sadly, the jump from $250 to $450 is not something I can afford.  Was hoping to see this new tier at no more than $300.  I hope we can buy things like the manual/cloth map/mousepad with our Founder's Points because I would have liked to own those items.

You will have my money regardless so whatever transpires no worries.  Just conveying my thoughts/opinions.  The only thing I am truly sad over is the long wait ahead to play/test this game!
