in Defiance

There is another post which is around an alpha testing on an aimbot, which will be pay to use and will release within a week after the release of DF. I will not post it here because I do not want to promote hacking.

 

I do not hate DF.

Like all of you, a new MMO FPS is hard to resist expecially for this one with a fairly decent graphic and gameplay.

However, a game for $59.99 like this one is not worth it.

They will also release at least 5 DLC in future for $19.99 each.

The overall price to fully enjoy the game is at least hundred of dollars.

It claims to be no monthly fee but if you include the future DLC into it, it is indeed exactly just like a subscription game.

If you want to keep staying on top of the game, it is almost required to purchase the DLC. From my experience, once there is a new patch, everyone move to the new place and the old place shortly becomes ghost town. In other words, it forces you to buy the new DLC or you cant play the game in the way you used to be.

Dont get yourself locked up into a game because you spent $59.99 at the first place and then in later time you regret this.

With the same amount of money, you can find better games, discounted price at steam.

 

Referring to Stephen R. Covey's "The 7 habits of highly effective people", "I want it now" is one of the most common human challenges we face. 

Temptation is always hard to resist, but once you can resist this, you will grow up and be a better person.

 

Suggestions:

There are plenty of games you can find on the internet that are better than Defiance.

 

Free to play:

Planetside 2

Team Fortress 2

Warframe

 

They are all free to play and risky free. Why go spend $59.99 for a game you might not even know if it is worth the price. Like I said, Trion is not a very good developer, dont risk your money on this.

 

My credibility:

I am an experienced game player. I have been playing MMO since 1999, my first game was Ultima Online. I was alpha tester in WoW, PS1, UO 3D, PS2 and beta tester in many other online games.

I know what I am saying and I believe I know what are the essentials to make a game worth the price.

NO one here tells you what you MUST do with your money. You are completely free to do whatever you want with your money.

NO one here spending 1-2 hours writing and making all the statements to badmonth a game. 

There is nothing I can gain from saying all this.

I am here to share with your experience and I turly do NOT want you make the same mistake again.

    the game is buy2play (b2p). no ones forces you to buy the dlc packs. Its all there for the consumer to know... So its worth it. 
    Eve online and +1500 steam games in the back cataloge makes me a stressed out gamer.

    OP why do you care how much money people want to spend? this was really un necessary. Do you go around doing 'public annoucements' on the streets trying to stop people from spending money on clothes, shoes, phones and what not? if no then why bother here?

    I seriously dont understand the hate on this game...Like... Do you guys think that the area that was surrounded by yellow on the map in beta was all there was? You do know that the yellow borded is removed with the full game? Also, I dont get how ya thing something like... Cod or Battlefield three, both of wich are FPS's and where 60$, and also had season passes. 

       I guess Maybe people are apposed to giving this game a chance, yet, its basically a MMO Borderlands( Which also had a season pass guys), and i mean, Borderlands is loved...so...why the hate? also.. Stop compairing the game to Planetside 2, This game is actually like a MMO( Quests, Instances and such) Planetside 2 is just a FPS..

    I could care less about PVP in this game so by extension don't care at all about cheats.  If I had any desire at all to PVP I might be more concerned but I would also be willing to wait and see how Trion handled them first.

    The game is a PVE focused FPS.  That's a pretty unique animal and as such might be worth spending some time with if that's your thing.  If not don't play it and just go find something else to spend your time on.  Either way spending tons of time writting about why people shouldn't play a game is really pointless and I have a hard time getting your reasoning behind it.  To each their own I guess.

    Man hacking is one of the biggest blow outs of any online shooter game.   Im definitley waiting untill after launch to consider purchasing it.   Thanks for the post also!

    DLC is way better then a subcription because you know exactly what you're paying for.

    Well lets speculate then, If he does not work for another company do you think he worked as a janitor for the show and they abused him and now he is butt hurt and hell bent on costing them a few hundred bucks by swaying the minds of a few buyers ? Or wait mabey they killed his father while pouring the foundation for thier corpate HQ and he vowed revenge. Or beter still he has a bitter distaste for all things that start withthe letter "D" after a scarry sesame street experience.

    So many of these post. Not sure why people are trying to push people away from the game. So you getting paid to do this other wise I can't see any reason to do these types of post. Just don't get it.

    I honestly think some people are worried this game is going to hurt the population of the game they currently play or something. Why are people so interested in talking other people out of buying what they want?

    At the time that post was posted the game was still under NDA. Dont make excuses. Get a life. Find a job, get a girlfriend, buy a pet, play a game you enjoy!, forget about everyone else's wallets!

    Even the guy who posted that thread said the NDA was not lifted, and you still brought it here as a lame excuse to try and keep people away from this game. Why not go out and try to keep children away from dangers?..... nah you sound creepy enough already, stay home instead.

    I dislike a lot of MMOS but i don't go all the way to make 'pulblic service annoucements' to stop people from buying it. That is not your normal every day hate.
