Everyone needs to know about this game...

in Divergence Online

I've been doing my best to spread the word on this, even going so far as to make sure people on SWG forums know about it considering it IS a game for former SWG fans.

Wish you could hype more than once lol

    no combat footage, just people walking around. no quest, no gameplay elements other than people walking around. said it has been in production for five years. good luck, but can possibly be vapor, so not worth getting too excited over till we see some gameplay elements.  "the repopualtion" coming out soon that is suppose to be similar to Star Wars Galaxies.

    Not into sandbox-games myself, but after watching the videos one thing i know for sure :

    1º Narrator is bad at his job.

    2º Believes that we need to go back to pre-WoW, because every MMO was a failure for him/them/you

    3º 5 Years cooking this cr-p? I bet, i was able to come up with sumtin better, in any sense

    4º 99% of the ppl on this planet don´t give a f--- about sandbox-games, i for im not wasting my time 5h farming trees or craft cr-p with zero purpose

    5º overall impression : meh, veh

    So you know for sure 99% don't give a damn about sandbox games... Yeh right :p

    It is a niche, but don't think there is no market out there for it since most of the old timers are sick of theme parks.

    I actually think either pure sandbox or pure theme parks mmo's are outdated however. A balanced game would prolly drive in the numbers.

    But with everything... Numbers don't always mean it's quality just look at game charts... Most popular ones are usually bland crap for the masses. And the average these days is actually a lot lower than it used to be :p Average is derp now.

    I found out about this game by clicking a link at the bottom of the page.   One guy is basically doiing all the work on this?   I dont see how you can expect to have a game with all the features promised with one guy doinig the bulk of the work.   It already has been in developement for such a long time.   Id be amazed if it ever even launched.    Still everyone needs their personal dream I guess.

    Indeed it seems a bit over ambitious but at the same time I'm also impressed what they already got. I've seen hell of a lot more teams who have a lot less to show for or ones that are just so borked.

    Not saying he has that much to show either tho but at least it seems smoother than some released games :p

    I just hope he finds what he is looking for and can deliver what his dream is. I bet a lot would be sparked with interest if it is more fleshed out/ a sure thing.
