there is a reason WoW has 100 some servers and Flyff has one GM who has hacker friends ruling the roost..cuz flyff blows monkey chunks it might as well be a private L2 server the way it is run.
and no the graphics are not very good.
I wish I could play flyff but it freezes for me...

yes i do. do you really think WoW would have sold so many copies if they logged on and there was 1 place at each lvl to lvl up for EVERYONE, who all btw looked like you and had the same skill, you could run across the world in under 10 mintues, and there was 1 corrupt GM who openly admits that his friend hackers are ruling the roost???

and also, i don't mind being called dumb if i do/say something dumb i deserve it.

hey why does eveyrone think corvettes are so cool looking when i got a chevy citation that looks just as cool?
then yeah, im deserve to be called dumb.

Well, I would hope that I have the tact and courtesy to not call them something offensive but instead explain my point of view in a respectful way. Saying "I disagree", instead of "your dumb", usually made people more perceptive to what I had to say afterwards. I've found that to be much more persuasive. But, do it your way...
And since popularity equals talent I guess I gotta throw out my Skinny Puppy, Ministry, Front Line Assembly, etc CD's. I can't believe I was so misled. Bring on the Madonna I guess. She is better looking than Ogre I suppose.

you compared flyff favorably to what is widely recognized as the best(at least most succesful) mmorpg of all time. flyff, in all honesty , would not crack the top 100 of all time.

I don't see anywhere in his post where he said popularity means talent ? He did say it means success, and a game can really only be succesful if it's fun to play. You can't fool 4 million people into buying a game that sucks. You will however have a very vocal minority who will think so.
People tend not to be very polite for long when you over react to something they didn't even say.

I don't play either game but I went and looked and I don't see any similarities at all, other than they have a cartoony look. Completely DIFFERENT cartoon looks, I have to add. I did play WoW briefly and I liked how it looked. My husband used to play the Warcraft series of games and I did enjoy the look of it. I didn't like the way Flyff looked at all, but then I don't enjoy anime or the appearance of most of those cutsey, asian type games.

no, there is a difference between japanese animation (cartoons) compared to american animation (cartoons). both are still cartoons. look at DBZ, that looks like sh*t and people call it anime.

Indeed- Japanese cartoons are NOT synonymous with quality. Just as there are American cartoons coming out every day with copycat animation (too bad they're just copying crap), there are just as many Japanese cartoons coming out with garbage DBZ-esque graphics. Please, excersize free will and find the quality artistry in both the East and West. You can't classify quality based on region.
I think it's one of those cartoonish (or anime-ish, I dunno) cutesy little MMOs that seem to be popping all over the place. There seems to be an endless suppy of them.
