The alternative is to remove swimming altogether.
No, the alternative is to remove shooting arrows through water. If you don't have a form of magic, well then I suppose you should stay away from water then, no? Or is that too hard for the pansy MMO players to handle these days? Know your limitations and do everything under your power to exploit the enemies weaknesses.
Don't make excuses for a bad mechanic.
But shooting fire and acid from your hand is more realistic right?
I always need to question people making these comments. Its a game, it is not meant to be realistic based on real life. real life says shooting arrows underwater is a nono but the world of agon seems to work different?
If you could not shoot arrows underwater but would be able to swing a sword now that would be broken and imbalanced! to make that balanced they would have to remove all combat in water to make it balanced for those wearing bows.. Now that would be lame.. lets hide in the water for invulnerability?
Its like you look at that video for the purpose to find a lame ass comment nagging about something.
Alot of the pvp is foccused on ships, wich includes ships being blown up ending in you having to fight in the water.
So tell me, you want water to be a safe zone too? In wow, you can shoot under water so you failed.

The skill ceiling is MUCH lower in DFUW.
It looks like he dominates people in those fights because his gear is 3x better than theirs. He is still a great player, but you will not find 1v5 victories in DFUW unless you outgear your opponents heavily.
