Simple as go back and look at their track record on how long it takes to get stuff done...
This is NOT under NDA now but AV stated Primalist would be released soonafter the original November launch date and it took them 5 months (all of this is posted in their public forums) so this is not a breach of NDA and tells you just how slow they get stuff in "soon"....
You have to understand AV is very hush hush. They wont really talk to much but they have been improving these past months on communication. They still are an Indie company, still in Greece, and still know that this is a Niche game that is very sensitive.
Darkfall: Unholy Wars is an improvment on DF.1 Month one based on gameplay. Sadly the same cant be said about Enjoyment just yet. But Darkfall is one of a kind and you gotta realize that these people arent here to please us, they just wana make a game that they have always wanted to make. But i think they are kind of loosing that vision slowly.

Is that really fair though,if comparing to every other game?
I mean you said 5 months and yet Eve has been around 7 years and still is missing key components that SHOULD have been their on launch day.let alone give them 7+ years.
Then you got Wow,Blizzard has made MULTI MILLIONS and has put NOTHING back in the game for free, they charge you for everything.
I am not saying it is good devs are doing this, but we should be fair across the board.
Also remember Tasos did no misleading act,he clearly stated awhile back that this new update would need to be done fast or players wouldn't wait.So he knows it needs more time, but you have to make a decision or lose the entire player base.
This same thing was done in the SWG fiascal.SOE was losing players fast, they had to decide on taking a chance making change or continue losing players.Same thing happened, players cried about the change, but FACT is,the game would have eventually died out anyhow.
DF1 was going nowhere,Tasos saw an opportunity to at least TRY and do something better. He obviously needs time and i would say if 5 months is the answer, man that is pretty good.Remeber this Tasos guy made DF1 pretty much broke,he struggled just top get the game out.Now he is putting most of that money back into the game,so again he is not making much profit from this.
The problem i had with DF1 is it was trying to be a go between game.Partly all pvp,but players still wanted PVE content. So the world was empty and really catered to nobody.
Never forget 3 mile Island and never trust a government official or company spokesman.
Was replying to you darkfallenx but see you proved the point with a lot of your answers it is coming down the road.... That is the issue it is launching without a lot of stuff.

LOL.. Ive heard that before.
but...they said shortly after launch! av is known for meeting deadlines on a consistent basis.
Did Blizzard run out of funds because Diablo 3 still does not have PVP and was released...6 months ago?
Six months ago? Diablo 3 was released almost a year ago.
