There arent any "good" betas out atm.at least it seems that way to me.

D&D online:A flop in the making.IF you think this game is going to do well puff puff give cause i want some of what your smoking.Maybe SOE willl buy tubine up after this dibacle and put liquar advertisemants in the bars and cleaning ads in the sewers..
Dark and light:Open beta sooner or later once they get done whoreing there selves for preorders.Those in the know say its looks like a bentley but drives like a pinto.

Ferentis is a pretty fair Beta at the moment, free to play.
Better that Lineage II & Knight Online in a lot of ways.

I quite like the pet interface and the fact that whist in towns you can still 'skill-up' your pets. Still a lot of mobs yet to be added and the landscape is quite interesting to explore. I would like to see some random discoveries like the odd chest or special object but is early days as yet still.
Give it a shot more are joining up every day.

its better then ferentus has implemented quests and all that good stuffs is currently in Closed beta (open)
its what im playing right now im gonna try out RF online though..
OMG Ferentus? fair? dude you must be smokin something.. it was a poor game to have in open beta come on there are no quests.. there are no real different monsters to kill you go from town to town and everything looks the same.. to say its even fair is a huge over statement
character creation isnt even 50 percent finished this game in reality is prolly a year if not 2 from being ready for open beta even then it would be sub par. sorry if this looks like a flame.. its not.. im just upset because i wont get back the time i lost even downloading the game.
Farentus - Looks to be a promising game if they ever get the content added. It is kind of bare right now.
Kal Online - This game rarely gets mentioned on these boards, but I think it is pretty good.
Silroad Online - This is a really good game that will be forever free to play and is somewhat innovative in its PvP ideas.
DDO - While I have not played the beta, the general thoughts on this game are not good. Sadly, it will probably sell well because of its name. Let's hope not (if it is as bad as I have heard).
RF Online - Playing the Phillipines Beta right now. This game is unfairly compared to Lineage 2. If you've actually played it, you will see that it is actually nothing like Lineage 2 (though I admit it LOOKS like it is in screenshots). This is going to be a huge flop, as it is simply a boring game.

Maybe all you beta hoppers hould try subscribing to a MMORPG that actually have content, I know some of you have but most of you will say you have but haven't.

I totally agree.
I play Lineage 2 almost exclusively, but I do enjoy looking at new games from time to time. The nice thing about MMORPG's is that they give players and opportunity to test them and deciding if it is something they would like to pay for. I don't see myself leaving Lineage 2 any time soon, as I am a clan/alliance leader. But it is nice to have something to play when I don't really have a whole lot of time to inverst in Lineage 2, need a break or during server maintanance.

i recognize that many people are waiting for new mmorpgs betas or realeases, they praise it and overhype it and whatever...2-3 months later most of them dont play the game anymore and wait for another open beta or release.
i play ww2online with some some breaks for about 3 years, most of the people complain about graphics and some dont like it but at least i found a game which i like that much and i always come back to play, instead of bunny hopping and overhyping new really shitty mmorpgs which are boring after weeks already.
i recognize that many people are waiting for new mmorpgs betas or realeases, they praise it and overhype it and whatever...2-3 months later most of them dont play the game anymore and wait for another open beta or release.

Once they release a game thats WORTH paying for, ill subscribe. Ryzom was the only one that had enough potential, and its still in its infancy, so its not worth it yet. Maybe some day though, we can all dream.
Also, dont flame others for not wanting to be "cool" like you and subscribe to whatever their friends pressure them into playing. I know being a child is hard, but using your brain is a good thing to learn before you grow up

Silk Road Online best game ever even compared to wow, guild wars ect since those shits tire out in like a couple of months.If your good with grinding this is the game for you.Amazing pvp systems this game is getting more crowded by the second and best of all its FREE, they make there money by item shop.
Yeah, I just started Silk Road Online a couple days ago and I'm having fun. Once you get used to the crazy point click movement and the strict ban on using question marks its really awesome. Its closed for 24 hours or so until second beta comes and I'm feeling the urge...
i played silk road and all i can say dont even bother with it it has so many invisible walls rubber bands and lots of other glitches and bugs
i played it once and hated it most other games are alright but this one just sucked
I wish I could try ferentus but it hangs while loading, never had any problem with any game ever, so that is enough for me to stay away from it
The support didn't answer the email so. 
Silkroad looks a little interesting but not that nice graphics and my kind of style, but there seems to be many kids here writing about it, so good sign to stay away
