Quick question...how do you use the vehicle customization kits. I have not played the game in a very long time and never used one. I cant seem to target my vehicle to use it!

I really did not play for more than a night with the game. I was never hard core SWG. I have played just about every MMO but I hated SWG from the start because the interface was flat out lame and not clean. I actually like the new one and if it is in upheaval fine. I really dont care what people feel about the game I am smart enough to make my own decision instead of being influenced by people who got too intimately involved in the games.
Change happens, and just like other games (EQ2, DAoC, Guild Wars) they all change and adapt to the needs and wants of their customers. If you cant get used to the fact that an MMO might want to grow up and broaden their horizons, then maybe you need to step away from it for a while and enjoy life a bit. This goes for anyone that gets THAT involved in a game. Its a time investment. Sure...but remember you are paying to RENT the game. If you work at a place you like but they change the way it operates or takes benefits away, don't you just find another place to work? Games are the same way. They have to change and adapt to the needs of the ever changing gaming population.
When the internet came out in force, I remember people complaining that it was going to be ruined by the ever novice population coming in and going to "web sites". Well now look at it...you cant live without it the way it is being populated. Life changes, games change....get over it and move on please. Stop whining! If I had a dime for every time I heard someone complain about the changes in any game, I would own Sony. And I still would make the changes they did.
Well it was like this, call out your vechicle right click on the kit and pick trim or body. You can do it again to customize which ever one you did no do the first time.
After the NGE, HA HA HA HA HA got to laugh to keep from crying, it may not work nothing else does.
I played this game for two years, at first it was the best. Had THREE ACCOUNTS Ebe, Ann, and Zoo'xu. But it has been all down hill since.
Made it through the CURB (Combat Upgrade Realy Blows) but this NGE is more than I can take, CLOSED all three accounts

"Targeting" anything with the new system is a pain in the butt. I am going to assume that this is damn near impossible right now because they still have to rework this.... because the only way to actually "target" your vehicle is to hover your cursor over the bike and then hit the ~ key to bring up the radial on the bike. After succeeding at that then you could access the inventory and try and get the customization kit to work in that manner. I guess it is worth a shot in any case.
You may just look like a complete monkey's ass at your keyboard trying to hit "~" while hitting "i" to access the inventory then moving the mouse from hovering over the bike to the customization kit in your inventory.... I mean you MAY want to think about being alone in the room when you do this because anyone watching you may get a huge laugh at your expense because of it

What idiots. Okay man i'll help you out the best I can. Press the alt. key. This will allow you to use your mouse for what you want without moving your toon around. I haven't tried customizing a vehicle so i'm not sure if it will work. Once your press the alt key and your cursor is free follow the previous explanation on how it used to be done.

Just ignore him. You are, of course, correct. It is damn near impossible to (TARGET) anything in the game now. Even with the mouse pointer.

I find there to be no difference in targetting then before the NGE, once you press that alt key. I always have the alt key mode turned on so I can move about just like before the NGE except kind of crooked because of the over the shoulder view now.

Okay so the legitimate complaints I agreed with on your posts don't count huh? I only agree with the people who post constructively. I don't like smart asses or idiots. People who fall under those two categories won't be taken seriously by me and I will always have something to say to those people. If you have a complaint and can post it in a constructive manner without flamatory remarks in it then great. If not then expect for people like me to come out of the woodworks and call you out on it. I find nothing wrong with the targetting as stated previously in my post. Let me guess though. Because I find no problem with it I must be shut down my a bunch of moronic post and ignored. Maybe some people have the brains to figure the new system out. You shouldn't be upset because some people can grasp the new concept and others can't.
