I have no idea on what status this game is, but I am very interested - Closed or Open Beta? There is not much information on the (european) web how to get into it.
So my question is: Is there any way to get into the Closed/Open Beta, from the EU?

Although you will play with 300-500 ping (1-1.5) sec response time. And it will cost you 42 bucks each month (1 month of account rental from a Korean and 1 month of gametime)

That sounds retarded, did they totally neglect optimizing the game for different hardware configurations? especially top tier hardware....
It is optimized and people have no problem playing the game on laptops and low end hardware. I am talking MAXing out all the settings. Crysis 3 doesn't run well maxed out on 680, why do you expect an MMO, based on the same engine, to be better optimized?
Have you seen this game on maxed out graphics? I doubt it. Because you can't stream on dx11 for some reason and dx9 render doesn't do the game justice. Playing this game on next gen hardware will blow your mind.
But if you want to play it right now, maxed out, as I said, you'll need to drop some serious cash on your hardware.
The above poster is talking about if you want to play AA at max settings, that is if you want to use DirectX 11 Tessellation and TXAA Anti-Aliasing. If you do not have a super computer then the game will just crash if you use these settings (I have tried..lol).
Tessellation is extremely new in a mmo, so all the kinks have not been worked out yet. But Xl games with the help of Nvida, is trying to get it fully optimized asap.
There is a Dx9 version that works very well and is fully optimized so for players who want a better performance or have an older computer, it plays perfectly fine. Even old PC computers can play AA fine in Dx9.

Russian localization beta will start in August.
EU/US beta should start somewhere after that point.
In general it takes roughly a year to translate a game, so expect to play AA early next year.

ArcheAge is currently released in Korea. It's in beta now in China.
Trion said they are pushing for a release later this year. There is no beta for NA / EU yet - it's still being translated and "westernized".
