Age of Wushu: Launch Day Arrives with New Trailer

The Age of Wushu team is celebrating in a big way with today's launch. A new video has been released starring none other than Jet Li. Be sure to check it out before heading to the Age of Wushu site to start your journey!

A unique, versatile sandbox experience, with cutting-edge graphics and innovative gameplay, Age of Wushu transports players to a martial arts world, set in the Ming Dynasty of ancient China. Players will master various martial arts disciplines as they explore ancient China and visit actual landmarks, including the Wudang Mountain Gate, the Xian Bell Tower, the Gobi Desert and Shaolin Temple, along with the ancient Yanjing (now Beijing) and Jinling (now Nanjing) cities.

    didn't make me want to try the game again, so I think I'll pass since I played the beta and it wasn't that great...

    Not played the beta because I wasnt really aware of this game but will deffinitly try it on release in a few hours. Look great.

    Although? I thought F2P usually led to P2W. I'm not sure it's already the case, but seeing who's running the show and from my previous experiences with those companies you can be pretty sure that eventually it'll become P2W. They might try to hold off for a while to draw in players, but once they think they can get away it then moneygrabbers inc. will show their true colors.

    Jet's put his name all over the game from Jet-Li in game coins to being at the $150k 1v1 invitation, to doing interviews saying that Esport players are as much athletes as others for the way they train thier mind. 

     

    Google Jet-Li Age of Wushu. He says things like "I wanted to get involved because it's so authentic." not a direct quote, but yeah.

    since i'm playing gonna tell you guys, vips(paying members) get a lot of advantages over free players, one of it is one kind of skill (divination), you xp/cultivation rate is 100% for vip 70% for normal(you can use gold to make that 30% you lose to your main pool) offline cultivation train (when logued out you still train skills) free one don't train offline, kidnapping for vips have bettter rewards. I think its all for now at least

    no question, it better to pay 9$ for Vip.

    I'm having a lot of fun with this game finally. I have tried it like 5 times before but could never muster the courage to actually learn the systems. I finally decided to just stick it out and honestly it's really fun. I have no idea whats going on with skills half the time but I'm slowly learning them and the more I play the game the more fun it becomes. Hopefully I can get into a guild soon and experience more.

    so its just pvp game ? no pve ?  where's world view , just sticking swords in each others necks and thats it ?

    its booring as fck if u r not pvping and  skills takes ages to level. if u arent vip you will almost always get owned by others with vip status

    Nope, it also has a lot of PvE.

    It's just a sandbox style MMORPG with a preference towards PvP.
