Actually had not been posting as much since work had me busy. But Friday and a slow day - I am just posting facts man. All my latest piosts have been factual...
1) AV has closed a thread they started about missing features -- anyone can see that is shady so close to launch LOL
2) IF load lag is still in game then that is a huge red flag again
3) The melee is still clunky
*** Just making sure all the information on both sides is out there - not the coverup being attempted by them.....
LOL - as I said bored at the office on a Friday... Not saying it is a conspiracy but you do not find it funny they closed their own thread and even some other threads with just questions about missing features that were not even troll threads? And they just happen to now start doing it so close to launch? Some were trolls and yes deserved to be closed - but some were damn good questions/discussions going.

The players will be on their backs post launch if they don't produce, there's not a community quite as frank as the DF's when it comes to these issues.
AV has nazi board moderators who they give complete control to delete,lock,ban posts/members on a whime with no justification.
It has been this way from the start. And it just 1 of MANY big issues that is wrong with the company.
Just act as if you are in North Korea/DF forums and only post positive things about AV,Tasos,DF unless you want to get deleted,locked,banned.
This type of abuse has also carried over to their FB page.
So it doesnt suprise me that mr white's thread got locked. That was a dumb post by him anyways that just confirmed the game was missing 10000 things. And that was just scratching the surface in his post. It is missing even more then what he mentioned it isnt even funny.
This is pulled straight out of your ass. Personaly I'd even call it a lie. Most of the time through past years DF forums hardly got any real censorhip, including the new ones. You can get away with saying pretty much anything be it AV or whatever else. I'm sure tho if you go complete retard mode you should understand there are bound to be consequences?
The thread mentioned by OP was opened up for 2 weeks and I guess it got locked when nothing new or constructive was added anymore, on contrary it was a dump for trolls. So it was actually pretty good call to close it down. Everything regarding its point got cristal clear and all what was left was waste of space and time.
It also makes sense that forums are getting censored more, now that the release is getting close, which includes a 5 month old "missing features" list where half of the features are either opinions or already implemented.
Just getting all the information and not just the stuff they want you to see out there for people who are thinking about the game. If they still buy it by all means but they should be informed. THat is very shady for AV to close a thread they posted confirming how much is missing...
That has way to do with them closing ther own thread? Anyway, threads have been getting deleted for weeks in the beta forum.
Guessing they did not want any more bad press on the confirmed missing features....
I really dont get what you are trying to achieve with all these threads and posts you are making. Hurt the game? Why? Why dont you just find something else to spend your time with if you are not happy with darkfall? Did they ban you from the game or something and now you want to get back on them? I just don't get it.
Instead of ignoring the post "Mr. White" responded to deerhunters original troll and singlehandedly torpedoed the game with his replies. And with the taste of blood in his mouth and all that...
They are trying to bait people and are not providing straight up information to potential customers; closing that post is total proof of it. Just be honest and tell them all the stuff that will not be in at release and then let them make their decision.
Instead they close the thread and bury it along with all the other non troll posts in the forums about debug mode and performance. So yes that is pretty shady.
Another proof why AV hasn't changed as a company.
Melee is not only clunky, it's too simplistic. I understand that they face issues games like Chivalry: MW or Mount & Blade: Warband don't, but it's simply not enough. DF:UW FPS/TPS features are inferior to any real mutliplayer shooter/slasher. On other hand the MMORPG features which should be DF strong points are simply non-existent.
This bunch of amateurs insists on making a ffa death-match game with capture points and a big map. They have no intention and most likely neither skill to create a sandbox experience which could save this game years ago.

I don't get it either. If I don't like a game I might offer my opinion but then it's time to move on. It was like this when the original DF launched; there was a small group of users who hung around for years screwing around in every thread. Pretty pathetic if you ask me, but apparently they're getting something out of it.
Just wait until UW launches next week, that's when the forum fireworks will be truly spectacular.

Well actually i do get it now.
I searched around the DF beta forums and i found out that that deerhunter dude was apparently banned about 10 days ago for breaking NDA, trashing the game, etc etc.
So now he is doing everything he possibly can to destroy the game.
