All good things...
It not owned my some money grabbing megga corp, ie Sony.
Every player has the chance to influence what goes into the game cause the Dev's do listen.
You'll never see and advert for Coke.
You'll never pay for an expansion (or the client for that matter).
It treats you like a grown up.
It's not easy.
There is a real death penalty.

I really don't agree, i used to play Eve, and i've got borred of the game, because, with all the expansions pack's, the game became to confuse, and got almost a need to play in group or with a guild, and some players (like me) don't have time for that.
Right now i'm playing WOW, and i'm getting the same problem, some missions are too big and need to be made with a group. It's missing some arcade.
Best regards.

That why I like it.
Thats why its a Mmo
If pitbulls could lock their jaw the first pitbull would still be hanging on
That why I like it.
It's a team play oriented game. Then again i made billions all alone but you have more fun in a team for sure.
so far i have only played solo
the group stuff will prolly be fun for sure
You can solo quite happily and easily in EvE, depending on what you choose to do. My 2nd account solod for over 2 months, made plenty of cash, and I was happy enough to let him stay solo for that time.
Some people stay solo their entire careers.
However, as in every single other MMO out there ~ the real fun comes when you join a group of players in order to acheive things together. That could be just a few of you forming a gang for one mining op to make some cash, or joining a Corp for longer term goals helping each other out on a daily basis. How many Corps actually started was a few people forming gangs together on a semi-regular basis.
And if it doesn't work out for you either way (solo or corp) you can easily change it, till you find what suits you best. (Quit the Corp/don't join the gang/join the gang/join a different corp etc)
It really is up to you. The game is what you make of it.
And I agree with everything M.Glassback had to say as well
