Should be required for all new and returning players.

Uzik: Pastebin may be more useful to publish the supporting ahk's.

I've tried using that in the past and had issues with row limits etc.

Figure it is easy enough to download the AHK file completely.

    Great video!

I recommend that anyone intereseted in playing this game watch the second half where he talks about keybindings. Having your binds set up properly will greatly improve your in game experience. You don't necessarily have to use the same binds as shown in the video, but it is a great jumping off point.

At the end of part two you talk about buying boosters vs. stats.  You mention buying strength in addition to wisdom as a priority. Actually a primalist would probably want to raise strength, dex, and int in even levels after first maxing wisdom.  Not just HP is important but also gains to stam pool and mana pool.  Better to get cheap additions to all pools than focus on expensive additions to just HP.  I'd say int is probably the second most important primalist stat for both mana pool and staff damage.

The problem is that the costs go up with every booster you buy, so if you try and buy them all the cost will be ridiculous.

As far as stats go I'm sure that once you get up to where the next point of WIS costs 1,000 prowess it would make sense to raise some of the other stats, but I would still recommend focusing on your role related stats above the others.

I bought DF:UW beta awhile ago. I couldn't be bothered with testing because it was downright atrocious. However, I'm sure some bugs were ironed out and it interests me again. However, anything that requires autohotkey is kind of a let down. :/ I know, I know, I don't HAVE to use it, but I'm not one to get rail roaded because I didn't suck it up and use it.

    We'll see.

Good stuff, Uzik. (I don't tell you that often)

AHK isn't a necessity in DFUW. I personally don't use it, nor do many of the top pvp'ers. It is good though if you can integrate it into your playstyle. The current AHK stuff doesn't really work for me though.

I'm not sure if AHK is not needed anymore. So called "Pro" pvpers are more then happy to abuse it to create macros to get some advantage. There is a hilarious video about making DF:UW 180 degree turns macros, featuring Ninogan getting pissed on his clan member who was stupid enough to make it public. This game and its community didn't change at all. Amazing show as always.

Did suck it up and buy a new multi-core computer, a second video card or upgrade your ram?

Larger monitor than the other guy? Better sound system? Faster HD to load zones faster?

How do you reconcile other people using mice with programmable buttons or keyboards with built in macros?

I've seen a few people use the radial menus and default bindings and do very well.  You can DEFINITELY use them, but you will need to work harder at it.

    Huh?

I don't care if people USE it, I just don't like that it seems like a REQUIREMENT. Uzik says no. Relax.

It definitely is not a requirement, but it will make the game easier.

Although some people seem to prefer the default binds.  1v1 it will probably make a big difference, but I'm sure you can have a siege force full of people using default binds and still do OK.

    Uzik,

Thanks you!  Great post!  Do you have any advice for getting AHK it to pause?  I use the Pause button but it does not seem to work.  It is quite frustrating.

    Damned,I suck at AHK.

My pause/break for stopping and starting the skript made my char auto run, couldn`t find the activate radial right spot, my left button somehow got set to crouch, and I couldn`t get it back because I couldn`t find the crouch key. I had to reset the bindings and logged off.

The horrible GUI have stopped me from playing for two days. The developer that invented this shit should be bitch slapped for a month before they fired him.

Uzik, Is the a key in game that have the excact name "activate radial right" or is that part of you AHK script?

Ahh well, I`ll try again tomorrow.

Uzik, you need to release a new song.

Btw, are you playing on NA or EU?
