I seem to remember some talk somewhere about Highlander being made into a MMO. Was there anything done or possibly still in the works? Anyone hear anything?

I wrote a letter to PC gamer about 2 years ago asking the same thing, they replied saying that the company "Kalisto Ent" went bankrupt, and the project went with it.
I can see a Highlander mmo being amazing. Perma-death is a rough one for any gamer to deal with, but maybe "stealing" a percentage of player's XP upon chopping thier craniums off would be more practical. Buffs and XP boost for the victor, and the loser isn't breaking his keyboard and deleting his account.

Not only where there some talks, but the game was in development by a Paris based company by the name of Kalisto Ent.
They are the makers of "Nightmare creatures 1 & 2" that was popular on the N64/PS systems.
They did put out a "demo" of sorts.. the only place it can be found atm is on gamersrifts.com Creation"Highlander Online - Avatar Creation
