Dragon's Prophet: All About Dragons

SBFordSBFord Former Associate EditorMember LegendaryPosts: 33,129

It's no secret that Dragon's Prophet is about dragons. In a new developer blog on the official site, the team talks about all of the different types of dragons that players can expect to find in the game including Elder dragons, flying dragons, water dragons and more......dragons!

Legendary Dragon

When Elder Dragons mate, their offspring are considered Legendary Dragons. These dragons don't have the same powers as their parents. Even so, they live longer than many other creatures in Auratia – their lifespans being a few thousand years. They are smaller and less wise, but still quite large and strong. Legendary Dragons are still a rare sight to see, but they are around.

Check out the entire lineup on the Dragon's Prophet site.

Sniff, now if only I could play the dragon and cut out the middle man/woman :]

Before you criticize someone, walk a mile in their shoes.
That way, if they get angry, they'll be a mile away... and barefoot.

I've been following this game since SOE announced it, but from what I've seen so far in vids and pics, it still hasn't given me any reason why I should spend I money on buying into the Beta... There are at least half a dozen or more other games that are all trying to get me to spend my money on them and so far this one really hasn't given me a reason to invest in it. The pic are pretyy and few vids on youtube are nice, but so are the pics and vids of other beta games. SOE give me some reasons why your game should be "The One" that I should spend my hard earned money on.......

There have been plenty of information packed interviews on here about the crafting and dragons, if none of that gets you to spend your money on it, maybe this game isn't for you. :)

If you play any SoE games its not really spending any money to buy a founders pack. You get the monetary equivalent of Station Cash credited to you. Also when it releases it will be free to play, so you can try it with no money lost.

Retarded.  Imagine a huge dragon moving at the same speed as a dragon 1/10 of it's size.  They need to fix that.  The Runewaker dragon flies soo damn slow.
