SOE scrambles to diversifies to stay in business  supporting the PSP.  Their on line business is getting stomped by WoW.  http://www.mmogchart.com/

Maybe they can work on my bike or perhaps clean out my garage.

I think ppl are just getting dumber by the week .

Now considering SoE a year ago did not have that extra 300k customers from EQ2 they have now ,how can you consider they are down on buisness from before?

If you consider 1 year ago the amount of EQ1 players are almost same as now and you can argue SoE might have lost some from SWG and PS(not that PS even at launch past the 100k mark) the total number of paying people are actually up.

Ok let me translate to idiot language as no one teaches economics anymore.

If i own a shop selling food(or whatever) and make 100k profit a year and next year i make 110k .But in that same year another shop at end of town opens up and makes 500k .Am i losing buisness?Nope.

Do not take envy for loses(again simple economics).

WoW brought in a whole new crowd to the genre and hardly disturbed the market for the rest.It only boosted the general playerbase(a very good thing for mmorpg) of mmorpg.

If you argue SoE is trying to cut in for more customers(like all buisness try) then thats another matter but saying they are desperate and trying to stay in buisness is a total joke.

Like has been even when they only had 1 mmorpg(EQ1) with under 300k customers to the near total of 1 million they have now they are making serious money and profit.Only blizzard is making more.
