Possible to use USA client to play EU WOW?

in World of Warcraft
It turns out most of my friends went to EU WOW servers, so is it at all possible for me to just change my client a bit to play WOW EU instead of my currently installed WOW USA client?

    you should buy a EU client ..then you can play on the eu servers..

    My friend was going to buy a game for me in EU to make an account, but it's so much more troublesome to actually send the CD's physically. Isn't there a single small config file that would allow me to use my USA client?

    Change the "set realmlist us.logon.worldofwarcraft.com" in realmlist.wtf in your wow folder to "set realmlist eu.logon.worldofwarcraft.com"

    i remember somewhere under support on they main site...
    they say you can exchange your US Cd key to a EU Cd key, but; they stated this for one resaon...
    if you ordered the roung wow box ::::31::; but wouldent hurt to try ::::35::
