Looking at Neverwinter, though it really depends on whether they can get out more classes within the first year after launch. Only one healing class? And it's not even the kind of cleric I'd play on pen & paper DnD... TESO looks like it'll burn a few months of my time, too - besides that, I'll beta-hop like I've been doing for the past few months.
If it had collision detection then all it would take is a couple of troll accounts on a competing server to join with the enemy army and just stand infront of any gate the army attacks, effectively blocking the entrance to any keep. Not to mention a couple of legit players who afk infront of a gate whilst others bring it down.
Basically, collision detection would cause as many problems as it solved.
On topic, GW2 also.
That's why you have push-through on allies when you implement CD.
It's already been done and tuned in other games. No need to be ignorant.
I'm trying to get into GW2 and I might try TESO depending on what I see. Not into other MMOs right now to be honest. I'll probably end up spending most of my gaming time on Rome 2 Total War and Europa Universalis 4.
The game is like 5 years away if it funds. I can't even decide what game I want to play when I initially sit down to play a game, and you're curious what I'll be playing for the next 5 years? By the time it launches I may not even be interested in MMO's anymore.
I really hope ArcheAge holds my attention, but all of us sandboxers have been burned before. Hard to stay optimistic.
Am looking forward to a few of the more typical games though. ESO I'll probably try. Wildstar looks like I won't really like it long term but may give it a playthrough at least.. The Repopulation I will follow.. A few others on the horizon as well.
ETA: Realistically, no MMO will actually become 'the' game I play for quite some time. Just not like the old days anymore.

..sorry "mybad" little UNDER 400k in 61 hours......HUGE difference indeed.
...I really hope you are not thinking this game will be funded in the last 61 hours. I would hate for you to be disappointed =( Follow past kickstarters in their last few days, and this current ones trend, there is slim-to-little hope.

82% to goal with a little under 3 days left? That sounds really good shape to me!
ive heard of a few kick starters getting that in the last 3 hours, much less the last 3 days lol.
Of course anything can happen, but if the pledges continue to increase at the current rate, we'll hit it.
not to mention the kick from PayPal after 2 mil
last I saw, the additional pledge needed per backer is almost down to $30 per backer
thats amazing. That means the current backers could easily tip it over the edge at the last minute, much less the additional, new backers between now and 3 days.
as to games, I think they said 2 to 3 years right? Plus we'll be messing around in internal/alpha testing much sooner than that (1 year from kick start maybe?)
do really its more like what will you play for the next. 1 to 2 years

If it isn't funded they won't start another kickstarter. This is it for them. As much as I would love for it to get funded it is looking slim. If by a miracle it gets funded I am going to check out Wildstar and try and get into the Chinese Monster Hunter Online. Maybe try TESO beta. So far right now the only game that is in the near distant future I am going to buy is FFXIV ARR

Not too concerned either way. But given a number of other projects, I wouldn't be surprised if CU did end up funding. Not sure why you're so adamant about this, but hey, whatever passes the time bud.

That's a joke right? I saw several successful ones get 30% the last 3 days, and some get 100 to 200 k just in the last few hours....
